Chaos in the cubbyhole...

Hi folks...welcome to the cubbyhole where creativity and chaos go hand in hand...you would think that I would know by now that a working area the size of a postage stamp just ain't going to cut the mustard...
in an ideal world...wouldn't it be great to have a squad of crafty elves zoom in and tidy up after each project while you pop off for a cuppa...instead I never seem to get round to tidying anything away and it's the usual "everything but the kitchen sink" bedlam. So there needs to be a major "clear the decks" session today to reclaim my crafty space ready for a bright and early Monday morning start again and top of the list is roll call at the die cutting station...
making sure each and every one is accounted for...I've learned my lesson in that department after so many dies have accidentally landed in the bin. And then I can put my feet up with the Sunday crosswords and The Furry Boy can look forward to his Pamper Time...you gotta keep the workforce happy after all.
but a messy cubbyhole means lots of crafty stuff to share next week...
enjoy what's left of the weekend everyone and we'll see you all tomorrow
Hugs Kath xxx

  1. My theory is that not much creativity happens until I'm in the midst of a mess! :)

  2. That shot looks interesting - more lovely canvas work?
For me there is a fine line...organised chaos is great especially when I have a lot to do in a short time but if everywhere looks too messy, it puts me off before I even get started.
    Enjoy your Sunday Kath.

  3. I get where you're coming from with regards to the mess Kath, but we wouldn't be true crafters if we didn't create the chaos along the way!!! At least you have a cubbyhole/room for all your stash, I have all of mine in the kitchen, so if I don't clean up after each session there would be carnage & lots of 'lost' goodies!!! Love the photo of Buddy! and that's an interesting sneaky peek.....look forward to the reveal next week. Happy Sunday my friend. Hugs Ann xxx

  4. Good Morning Kath. All this sounds familiar I'm afraid. Crafty chaos happens to us all from time to time. I'm sure your furry friend will be there to keep you company too. Enjoy your pamper time knowing your space is tidy. Hugs Rita xxxx

  5. Hi Kath,
What fun! I've finally seen something that kind of mirrors my workspace lol. The first thing I always do is to put my dies back on their magnetic storage sheets so that I don't lose them...then everything else just goes onto the floor for me to clean up after my crafting session. I think my furry friend has learnt that it's safer for her to stay well away when I'm in there or she'll be covered lol.
I have to say that I think I've fallen in love with your tree die, that looks really interesting to say the least.
    Have a happy crafting day.

  7. I work in crafty chaos all the time, maybe that's why I am not so productive but with cupboards that are bulging I guess I just have to 'go with it' for now! Hugs, Anne xx
