Countdown to Christmas...

Hi folks...Day 1 is done and dusted...a bit hectic but always lots of fun and I'm ready to do it all again today but here's a scary thought...guaranteed to make you choke on your Friday morning cereal...7 weeks today will be Christmas Day so I'm sharing an advent wall hanger I made using the 3-in-1 Tag Maker Label & Simple Punch...

Tonight I'm looking forward to a twice yearly Birmingham tradition...a favourite culinary night out with my lovely Fiskars buddies Hina and Enfys at the fabulous Indian Dreams in Solihull...I'm already drooling at the thought.
See you all tomorrow

  1. Fabulous advent hanging, and I'm ignoring the bit about how long there is to go!

Hope to stop by and say hello tomorrow.

  5. Hi, Kath,
Glad you got through day one okay. The meal sounds like heaven, although I have to admit that Chinese is my favourite...closely followed by fish and chips lol.
I love the advent hanging and thanks very much for letting us know we only have 7 weeks to go! My sister is moving house today so after 5 years of living just 10 miles away from her I'll now be almost 370 miles away (with no transport) so I'm really going to miss her. My Christmas will now be just me and my furry family from now on but I'm still going to put up the tree and make some ornaments for it. I used to have a really lovely Advent hanger and it went AWOL when I moved so I really do need to make a new one. I'm torn between a plaque or an MDF shape to decorate. I need to borrow the card you showed us the other day and get my skates on lol.

  6. Wonderful creation Kath, lovely colours, so bright and cheerful, fabulous work!

I saw you yesterday at the NEC, you were just going into the hall before opening, you stopped at the door to hug someone, we were in the queue waiting to get in, (very near the front as we got there too early) but too far for me to speak to you, I intended to introduce myself if I saw you inside but I didn't spot you, it was packed though wasn't it, busier than last year I thought, anyway, enjoy the rest of the show and I hope you'll also enjoy that meal, always nice to get together with friends you don't see often!
