Chaos In The Cubbyhole...

Hi folks...hands up if you're as fed up of this dismal dreary wet weather as I am...day after day of water running out of the a**e of my breeks on miserable doggy strolls...not to mention the "three times a day" change of trousers for me and vigorous rub downs with a towel for His Nibs and not forgetting that unmistakeable WET DOG aroma hanging in the air. But in between times...we've taken refuge in our cosy and dry crafty space and been having fun with the Fiskars New 2016 Products and the Cubbyhole currently looks like a bomb has hit it...a right old midden but in my little world...CREATIVITY seems to go hand in hand with CHAOS...
reducing the working area on my desk to postage stamp proportions...

and a sneaky peek of Project Numero Uno...made entirely out of some of that left over Fiskars packaging...
and another after raiding the "aluminium can" recycling bin...
Fingers crossed that Mr Mojo keeps the ideas coming...the rest of the cubbyhole crew with the help of Mr Dyson will make short work of the resulting debris. Have a great day whatever you have planned and don't let the weather put a damper on your weekend.
Hugs Kath xxx

  6. Oh my, it's nice to know that my crafty space is not the only one that gets reduced to a tiny cramped space with piles of crafty goods laying about..... It's not our fault it's the creative genius in us.

Can't wait to see what your up to, it's always inspiring!!!!

  7. Hi, Kath,
I just LOVE what you've made with all your 'leftovers', what a creative mind you have.
It's actually ...DRY...here in Truro - for the moment! The sun was shining when I got up this morning but it soon hid behind a raincloud. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that we don't get the 100mph winds down here that Shetland is getting. My sister lived up there for 9 months when her husband was stationed there with the RAF and she was telling me there were no trees, so nothing to break up the force of the wind when it got too fierce. I hope everyone is safe as I see they issued a red weather warning earlier!!
Don't talk to me about wet dog...the other night my fur baby had a mega fit. We went to bed as normal and she was fine for about 30 minutes. Then she decided she wanted to go out. She came back in, I shut the kitchen door and went back to bed...before I could lay down, she's moaning to go out again. When she gets back she decides she's going to moan and whinge non-stop and at 1:00am I chucked her out and slammed the door (I opened it up right away again though lol). Between 1:00am and 2:00am she spent the entire hour...digging holes in two places in the back garden. One went pretty deep and she decided after all the excavations, she would just sit in it. In the end I had to go out, torch in hand, and drag her back inside...then I spent about 15 minutes bathing her feet to find them under the dirt (she's a mini Schnauzer so hobbit-like hairy feet). By the time I finally got back to bed I was too worn out to sleep, so I sent the rest of the night with my Kindle for company. Misty jumped on the bed, circled round twice and then went to sleep, not moving until 7:30am!!! I offered to send her to my sister in Lincolnshire lol.
Right now she's cuddled up next to me on the sofa. I still think she was getting back at me for having the nerve to clip her claws lol. At least it wasn't hosing it down when she turned into a miner so it was only the feet that needed working on. Don't you just love them :)

  9. Ah, chaos, it just means that you are being wonderfully creative! I am not enjoying the horrible wet weather either and the high winds meant that we had no internet all day today, I cannot believe how much I missed it! Hope the weather improves soon... Hugs, Anne xx
