Finding My Happy Place...

Hi everyone...it's Monday morning...greetings from this chilly snowy corner of Scotland...
I'm back to share the third of my "Inspired By Shari Carroll" Art Journal pages...you can watch Shari's step by step video tutorial HERE...
I used the hexagon stamp from Hero Arts Hexagons CL667 inked with Hero Arts Wet Cement for the background
which matches perfectly with Hero Arts Alphabet Hexagons CL671...don't you just love when a plan comes together...

We all struggle from time to time with inspiration and motivation and I've been in the crafty doldrums since Christmas so I stepped back from all the new products on my workdesk which can sometimes make Mr Mojo go into panic mode and run for the hills and instead dug into my "projects still to do" box and hey presto it seems to have done the trick...I've found my happy place again. Sadly my Art Journal Adventure has been put on hold meantime and it's back to the crafty list for me...lots to do before I head off on a fun weekend adventure..here's hoping some of my new found enthusiasm has rubbed off on Mr Mojo and he's raring to go.
Hugs Kath xxx

  1. Mr Mojo does not look like he has gone to far my lovely friend, your card is so beautiful - I just love the cement coloured paint and the sequins give such a lovely little bit of sparkle here and there.... I am on countdown now.... just need to give myself a good talking to!! Hugs, Anne xx

  2. The white stuff seems to have given us a miss so far but the chilly temps haven't and we had another heavy frost this morning followed by blue skies & sunshine (still cold though).
Another fab page for your journal.

  4. Hi Kath,
Happy Monday to you. I love your card...and I love your snow!!! Dare I say that for the first time in what seems like years, the sun is shining and the wind has dropped down here in Truro. It's still more than a bit chilly though.
I do actually miss the snow...when I was living in Hampshire we did get a regular visit from the white stuff and my furry companion loved it, especially all the little snowballs that she managed to amass on her furry feet (she's a mini Schnauzer so has Hobbit feet lol). Years ago I had a cat who also loved the snow, he used to drop his head down and run, ending up looking like a furry snow plough :). Sadly, I would most probably need to relocate up country to be able to play in the snow again as Cornwall seems to be out of bounds lol.
