Mother Nature Showing Off...

Hi folks...I've woken up to another beautiful bright and snowy morning...

I get the feeling the weather just can't quite make it's mind up...yesterday's snow disappeared pretty quick and it was the most beautiful if a little chilly sunshiney day. Crazy crazy weather and when crazy happens Mother Nature has a tendency to show off and last night was no exception...she donned her best party frock and treated us to the most spectacular light show...a magnificent Aurora Borealis performance of the Northern Lights or as we call them in my neck of the woods...merry dancers in the sky.


and no matter how many times I've witnessed this spectacle in my lifetime...it never fails to amaze...takes my breath away and is absolutely jaw droppingly beautiful to watch.     Oh Kath your so lucky to see such a wonder of nature, how fab....enjoy the snow, ours lasted all of a few hours and gone...xxx

    What fabulous pictures - you really are very lucky seeing such wonders of nature.
    Down here in the South we have had a mix of sunshine & showers (no white stuff but plenty of frost).
    Hope you & Buddy enjoy your snowballs.

    The pictures of the lights are just stunning Kath, I have not seen them since I was a child but still have the memory to this day... The weather is much the same here, cold and light dusting of snow but glorious sunshine too! Hugs, Anne xx

    Oh my kath... looks like the aurora was spectacular..so beautiful. I've only seen it twice with my own eyes ... both times special... i don't think i could tore of it! Hugs rachel x
