Spring Flowers...Day 3

Hi folks...Day 3 of Spring Flowers and on today's cards I used Distress Markers and Spray Stains to create watercolour effects. On the first card I sprayed Tumbled Glass Spray Stain on to my non stick craft mat...spritzed with water and applied with a big brush...
Once it was dry I stamped the Circle Icon from Spring Flowers with Wild Honey Distress Ink. I sprayed Tumbled Glass and Wild Honey Spray Stains on to my craft mat...misted with water and create splatters on the background using a small paintbrush. I stamped the flower...leaf stems and sentiment from Simon Says Stamp "Lovely Spring" with Black Archival Ink.
I then stamped the flower and leaf stems on to Ranger Watercolour Card and coloured with Mustard Seed shaded with Wild Honey...Peeled Paint shaded with Evergreen Bough Distress Markers using the Ranger Fine Detail Water Brush...fussy cut and layered on 3D foam pads to create dimension...finishing off by adding sequins. I matted on to Simon Says Stamp Fog Gray card and fixed to a white card.
On the second card I wet the watercolour card and spritzed lightly with Twisted Citron and Tumbled Glass Distress then used a baby wipe to even out the colour in the centre.  Once dry I stamped the dotted circle from Simon Says Stamp "Love This" using Twisted Citron Distress Ink. I dried the card with my heat tool and dusted with the EK Success Powder Tool before stamping the leaf stems and flowers with Versamark and heat embossing with Ranger White Detail White Powder.
I coloured the flowers and leaf stem with Twisted Citron shaded with Mowed Lawn...Fossilized Amber shaded with Wild Honey Distress Markers using the Ranger Fine Detail Water Brush.
stamped the sentiment from "Hand Lettered Hello" with Black Archival and decorated with sequins.
I stitched around the edges of the card...distressed the edges...finished off with a twine bow and used Simon Says Stamp Fog Gray card as a frame. I'll see you all tomorrow for the last of the "Spring Flowers" projects...surprise...surprise...it's vintage and more than a little bit grungy.
