Another "Deep Breath" Day...

Hi folks...what can I say...can this world get any crazier...YES...is the answer apparently...with the shock news that "The Donald" is now President Elect of the USA...the least said about that the better...God Bless America and God Help Us All about sums it up.
And the cubbyhole crew have also been hit by the "doom and gloom" mood...yesterday's crafty project...despite a valiant effort...reached the unrescueable stage and landed in the bin...
BT has been playing fast and loose with my wi-fi connection this morning and the old computer is on a go slow....I suspect he's joined Mr Mojo who's left the building and gone into hibernation somewhere...
and there's nothing cheery about the weather either...winter is fast approaching and a chilly soaked to the skin doggy stroll is not the best start to anyone's day...two hours later and I can't seem to drag myself away from toasting my toes and drinking cup after cup of coffee...
But behind every cloud...there's a silver lining...a little ray of sunshine with the news that the Fiskars Samples Parcel has finally been DELIVERED...unbelieveable that UPS managed to do in 2 days what Hermes failed to do in 5 weeks and the moral of the story...be grateful for small mercies...time to give myself a good slap and get back to work.

  1. Hi Kathy, I know, it's been a long time since I left a comment but I had to have a blog break. It's taken me a wee while to get back into the swing of things, just when you are searching for your lost mojo! I blame the weather or, more likely, the drop in temperature ... below zero down here. I think I'd be tempted to put my feet up at your window - the aspect looks lovely, from the inside. Hope the box of Fiskars goodies gets your crafting juices flowing. Have a lovely day whatever you do. Elizabeth xx

  2. So glad the Fiskars stuff has arrived safely - you can now breath.
I got soaked on my way to work this morning due to some very inconsiderate drivers speeding through large puddles (the resulting waves would have done a surfer proud). What is it with people these days???

  7. I totally concur on your assessment of the US elections, what is this world coming too? But thrilled to hear that the parcel made it safely to it's destination and in such record time, way to go UPS! Hope you have warmed up and that your mojo has returned from his walk about, Deb xo
