Hi folks...it's been a busy old week in the cubbyhole trying to catch up with the crafty stuff after my trip to Stitches...the tiny houses are standing in line waiting to be decorated...
there's been some more playtime with Distress Oxides...
I've been making cards with the Stampers Anonymous/Tim Holtz stamps that will be shipping to a craft store near you in March...
and getting stuck in to my DT project for next Monday's challenge at Simon Says Stamp...
There have been one or two "happy mail has arrived" moments...I can't tell you how excited I was when this month's edition of Craft Stamper popped through my letterbox and huge congratulatons to my lovely buddy
Brenda for being this month's Cover Girl with her gorgeous Spring Assemblage project...
flick over a few pages and there is little old me with my first commission...woohoo...huge thanks to Trish Latimer for inviting me to join the Craft Stamper Team and here's a little sneaky peek of my Spring Canvas using fabulous PaperArtsy products...gorgeous Fresco Finish Chalk Paints...amazing stamps and stencils from the lovely and very talented Lin Brown.

But as much as I would love to stay home today and continue the crafty playtime...I have missed out on two Friday adventures with my favourite non-crafty gang...so it's going to be a...lunch/pamper session/coffee and catching up with lots of gossip kind of day. ReplyDeleteI've just taken out a subscription to Craft Stamper so I'm hoping that I get the issue with your page in it...fingers crossed.
I love what you're doing with the oxide inks. I've told myself that, even though there are only 12, I'm not allowed to get them until I complete my collection of 'normal' distress inks. I arrived a bit late to the distress party so I think I've only got around 30 in my collection as yet...although I have to say that the new oxide ones may be better for my dip into the world of mixed media...can you hear my inner demon telling me that I really do need the oxide inks lol.
