Ooh...La..La...Paris, Je Viens

Bonjour mes amis...I'm off on my travels again and if the Air France flight crew didn't sleep in...by the time you're reading this I'll be waving goodbye to home...
en route to Paris for a jolly...a fun 4 day trip with my good friend...Fiskars colleague and partner in crime...the lovely Enfys.

If you follow our blogs...you'll know that we've had some great adventures together with a few mishaps along the way but hey ho...life is a tad boring if everything always goes according to plan.
We're travelling to Charles De Gaulle Airport separately and couldn't believe our luck that our flights land within 5 minutes of each other...couldn't have planned it better if we tried...unfortunately the luck ran out when it came to booking the hotel.
We are spending Thursday at the Version Scrap Craft Show which is on the south side of Paris and thought we'd found the perfect hotel just across the street from the Expo Centre...the only problem is the show is NOT at the Expo Centre but a 45 minute metro ride away or 2.1/2 hours if you're on foot at Parc de Floral Vincennes....OOPS...SACRE BLUE...MON DIEU OR C'EST LA VIE as our French friends would say so we'll be buckling up and practising our French accents with a nice taxi driver through the scary Paris traffic.
The good news is the hotel is in a cosmopolitan area with lots of cafes and bars and only a short walk from the River Seine...Eiffel Tower and Champs Elysses...so not a complete disaster after all. I'm so looking forward to our girly trip...we'll be painting the town red and having a ball but I leave you with this thought...

who locked down an international airport for 20 minutes together...

WHAT CAN POSSIBLY GO WRONG !!!

    Well, you are there now and the hotel sounds wonderful, a lovely area to be in at night, I guess it could have been much worse!! I hope you both have an amazing time, it really is such a beautiful city - just enjoy! Hugs, Anne xx
