The Best Laid Plans...

Hi folks...things have moved on in the cubbyhole...the new flooring is down and the plasterer has worked his magic on the walls...

I just need to be patient and wait for it all to dry out...
I did intend moving my old workdesk back in so that the crafty production line could continue BUT totally out of the blue sod's law came to visit bringing with him a rather nasty summer cold and I've had a miserable sneezing coughing and feeling downright pants weekend...time to rally the faithful troops...Messrs Manuka Honey, Lemon Juice and Neurofen...
I don't want to tempt fate but I have a sneaky feeling we may be winning the battle and while hubby gets stuck in to painting the ceiling...I'm having a feet up with lots of cuppas kind of a day studying paint charts...decisions...decisions.
Toodle-oo for now

  1. exciting Kath, new craftroom in the making. I too have been struck down with a mystery virus that I had all last week resulting in taking to my bed (and I'm no softie) second visit to doctors reveals virus had turned into pneumonia and now on bumper antibiotics. . . Take care of yourself and hope your sickness goes away quickly Kath. Enjoy your day. Sue x

  2. So sorry you are feeling poorly Kath, take care and maybe add a drop of Dark Rum to your honey & Lemon, I'm not sure if it really works but it always makes me feel better, lol. 🤕

  6. Kath, I hope the honey and lemon are working their magic. Just think though, by the time your raring to go again the ceiling will be done and the plaster should be dry enough for you to start brandishing the trusty roller. I love the floor, it looks fantastic. Do you have a colour ready for the walls? We're all looking forward to seeing it in all its glory and I'll bet Mr Kath will be pleased when all the craft supplies are back where they should be.

  7. Oh no Kath, something you don't need right now. I am sure Messrs Honey, Lemon and Nurofen will get you better. I am so excited to see how the new cubbyhole looks once it is all done. Take card.

  9. Love your floor Kath. I need my craft room updating too, it's the thought of having to box up everything that's holding me back. I need to bite the bullet and just get on with it. Sorry to hear you got a lurgy, but rest is a great medicine. Hugs Rita xxx
