Morning folks....middle of the week already and time to play along with all the lovely crafters at
WOYWW..time to have a snoop around everyone else's crafty spaces and believe me I need something to cheer up the old spirits today. Woke up yesterday morning feeling all sniffly and shivery....oh yes I think the dreaded cold is trying to take hold but I am fighting it off with mega purchases of hot drink remedies...painkillers and honey and lemon lozenges...so fingers crossed it works...no time to be ill. My lovely buddy
Anne at Simply Create has also fallen foul of the blighter so although I felt as though I was at death's door I set off to Alford to get some sympathy....a big hug and make some crafty purchases.
And what's on my workdesk today...some of yesterday's purchases....more fabrics and trims and no it's not for another tote or slippers to match the one I've got.
a little bit of a fun project....I am not letting the cat out of the bag just yet...you have to be patient and wait for the big reveal. And I am not the only one who has succumbed to this new found sewing addiction....Mrs Simply Create the lovely
Jacqui has also fallen prey and has already made 4 totes in different fabrics.....wow they are so yummy.....I want one of each.....this sewing malarkey could take over my life completely. I have a million and one other work things I should be doing....but hey ho I need to play to take my mind off my runny nose...blocked up sinuses and all the other aches and pains....so I am off to get crafty with some fabric and will catch up with you all later.
Hugs Kath xxx

Hope you manage to ward the dreaded lurgy off and feel more the thing really soon! I just bought a sewing machine (well, two weeks ago, actually) and haven't unpacked it from the box yet.... maybe I should just break it out and have a play!
ReplyDeleteoh no Kath - hope you don't get the lurgy, i've got it but on the other side almost - had both my boys off school last week with it... i didn't want it because of the pain i get when coughing :O( hopefully the shopping trip put paid to it coming on... i'd love to make a tote bag - are they difficult?
