BLACK....PINK AND WHITE
one of my favourite colour combinations
Papers: Pink Petticoat
Pretty Doodles & Just an Old Fashioned Girl
Heart: DCVW Cardstock run through the Cuttlebug and sanded
Ribbon: American Crafts
Sentiment: American Crafts Thickers
I know the heart and the ribbon look a bit red
but they are actually pink
Well would you believe I am still in decorating mode....but I can now see the wood for the trees and hopefully by the end of the week it should all be done and dusted....but it's still painting by day and crafting by night and oh boy did Mr Blogger get my dander up last night.....now according to my crafty bestest bud Chris..and I quote "Sometimes I love Blogger".....blinkin heck Chris...what is there to love about this awkward son of a gun. I finished a little bit early last night....made myself a cuppa and headed up to my office for a bit of blog hopping and lo and behold....MR B......has other ideas....on a go slow...must have had a busy day.....well join the club matey....so if I didn't manage to get round to visiting you.....you know who to blame.
P.S. It was so cold here last night.....I went off to bed with my hotty water bottle + "The Budster" lying across my feet and still couldn't get cosy....maybe need to look out some bedsocks....oh dear must be getting old......it'll be a bedjacket next....you will only remember them if you are a certain age....catch up with you all tomorrow....Hugs Kath xxxxx
P.S. To answer Paula's question.....the writing paper is from "Just an Old Fashioned Girl"..a download from Pink Petticoat.

So glad your painting is seeing the light at the end of the tunnel. Love this creation and of course the colours. It seems that Blogger doesn't like the night owls ... you will have to become an early bird (who catches the Blogger). Hugs from Desire

ReplyDeleteWell another stunner from you Kath - the papers are gorgeous..
My furries were curled up beside me yesterday too unlike them they are usually in their beddies at the foot of the bed! It is bloomin' arctic weather though. Eeeh I wear bed socks every night - no electric blankets or bottles just sox!!!

Great card! This is one of my favorites! I had a "bed jacket" when I was a little girl in the hospital getting my tonsils removed. That was way back, when you had surgery, you actually HAD to stay in the hospital for a week or so! My Mom got me 3 new sets of jammies, and they all had little quilted lacy jackets!
ReplyDeleteKath, the detail in this card is stunning! It's beautiful!
ReplyDeleteBTW, I love your new puppy! :)
This is Beautiful Kath! I just love the Colour Combo!
