It's perfect weather for staying indoors and ticking the jobs off the crafty list...remember this...
the knitting bit of the shawl scarf is finished and...
half the fringing is done...hopefully I'll finish the other half tonight watching telly...
and there's nothing quite like a bowl of home made Lentil Soup to warm you up after a chilly lunchtime stroll...
also done and dusted and I'll be sharing later...
Woohoo it's Friday and I'm looking forward to a date with the Friday girls...I've missed the last few get togethers so today we're kicking up our heels and treating ourselves to a pamper session...a yummy lunch and a good old chinwag.

The shawl scarf is beautiful and you may have inspired me to finish a sweater project of my own. In my defense, I will say that successful carpel tunnel surgery will help also. And there is nothing better than homemade soup...forget that canned stuff!

ReplyDeleteHi Kath, what a beautiful piece...I love knitting too over the colder months and I've started making homemade/homegrown pumpkin and parsnip soup with some added extras this year. It goes down a treat Kath after being in the cold, enjoy your friday and love to buddy! Ruby x

ReplyDeleteWell, I for one I'm hoping your neck of the woods stays relatively clear, or we won't be able to spend Christmas with my parents this year! The kids are really looking forward to it, so I've already warned my dad he may have to take up position on Glen Shee with a snow shovel! lol.

ReplyDeleteI have been doing some knitting too Kath.I have finished a jumper for my neighbour's grandson. She started it and has been so busy she hasn't finished it. He is coming tomorrow so we have washed and dried it ready for him. We have not had the weather too bad here in Cheshire... we are so lucky ! X
