And we have a new member joining the team...let me introduce you to Mr P or to give him his proper name...the Procision Rotary Bypass Trimmer...the latest cutting tool from Fiskars that I've been eagerly and very impatiently waiting to arrive since we first met at The NEC...
I have to confess that up until now I would have always chosen my Fiskars Guillotines over a trimmer any day (oops that could be a P45 statement and no mistake) they're years old...have never been sharpened and will chop through layers of 300gsm card like a knife through butter...a real godsend when it comes to kitting but I have to say that this guy is just as impressive...you can see it in action HERE
designed to cut through thick or thin materials with a
Dual Rail System which eliminates blade wiggle for precise cutting and
the Spring Action Rotary Bypass Blade will never need replacing
with a space-saving fold up design and lifetime warranty
it looks like he may well be giving the guillotines a run for their money. He doesn't know it yet but he'll be working his socks off...no room for slackers here and once we've put him through his paces...we'll let you know if he's up to the job.
Do you remember the beautiful handmade bridesmaids bouquets that I shared with you...made by my lovely blogging buddy Polly from Wales...well feast your eyes on this stunning creation that Polly made for her daughter...the bride...
thank you so much for sharing this with us Polly...there are not enough adjectives in the dictionary to describe how gorgeous this is so I'll sign off now and leave you all to gaze in wonder.
And my furry partner will be joining you tomorrow so toodle-oo from me for now
Hugs Kath xxx
Good Morning Kath. Like you I love my Fiskars desk trimmer. This one does look good though I have to say. I know you will be testing it well. What a talent your friend has to produce a bouquet as beautiful as this. A perfect heirloom. Have a Good Day. Hugs Rita xxx
ReplyDeleteHi Kath, I am sorry but I am one of the people that visit every day but don't often remember to comment. However today I just had to say that I love the look of your new Fiskars trimmer - I have several different trimmers and use them for different things on different days! If I had room for any more things I think this may be a must have. I love looking at your blog as you and your furry friend are so inspirational. Have a great crafty day, Jacky xx
ReplyDeleteHi Kath interesting to see how this trimmer works out, and I am sure it will get well tested. Love these flowers made by Polly and they make a lovely keepsake. X
ReplyDeleteThe new trimmer looks a beast Kath, I hope he can take the task on for you.....Happy Christmas...oops I mean Happy Tuesday xx
ReplyDeleteLoving yesterday's gorgeous creation and those fabrics look yummy. I love my trimmer which looks tiny compared to this monster, mind you that would take up most of my table. I think. That bouquet is wonderful.
ReplyDeleteHi Kath, I have a metal Fiskars rotary trimmer, but I'm always on the look out for improved tools. I take it this one only does straight, but I hardly ever use a fancy blade these days.
ReplyDeleteI would worry about the flimsyness of plastic, though I have the very small plastic trimmer too which I keep for fiddly bits and very precise trimming of cut outs and that hasn't broken yet!
The bouquet is stunning, would have loved one like that!

WOW...Now thats what a I call a Trimmer....the bouquet is amazing... what a work of art... Hugs May x x
ReplyDeleteNow that is one serious piece of kit! I am going to watch the video straight after writing this.
ReplyDeletePolly's bouquet for her daughter is absolutely stunning and how lovely to be able to keep a bouquet as a memento - much better than real flowers I think. Hugs, Anne xx
My husband is a real big Fiskars fan from his axe to my Christmas present snippers and he's already looking up this trimmer. Hope it's as good as it sounds. Trimmers can be so frustrating!!! Thanks, Jan
ReplyDeleteWhat a very talented lady Polly is,the bouquet is Beautiful.xx
