one of my New Year Resolutions is to find more time to make fun stuff and when the crafty work allows join in some challenges so I'm entering this month's Winter Wishes Challenge over at Frilly and Funkie and sharing what I love about winter. I'm a skier not a skater...believe it or not flying down a mountain with 2 big metal planks attached to my feet is my idea of fun whereas sliding along on skinny metal blades seems infinitely more scary with a much harder landing when things go pear shaped so until Mr Holtz comes up with a "Skis" die...I'm taking big liberties with artistic licence on my winter sport theme. And it's ironic with the amount of snow that's fallen on Cairngorm over the last week that the blizzards...gale force winds and high risk of avalanche have kept the ski centre closed and us ski-bods on the wrong side of the snow gates.
I'm having a good old crafty clear out today after a rather busy DIY weekend but I'll tell you all about it tomorrow.
Hugs Kath

ReplyDeleteWhat a fabulous card.
ReplyDeleteI don't "do" anything slippy or slidy (too many memories of broken arms as a child) although I did manage to stay upright on a pair of skates in Nottingham where Torvil & Dean started out.

Love this to bits Kath. Putting the 'frosting' over the ridges on the corrugated ridges is ingenious and I love how aged look of the boots pulls the colour scheme together. Thank you for joining us at Frilly and Funkie. Jenny x
