and a fabulous box of goodies from the lovely Lynnda at Oakhouse Studios for my Guest Designer debut...coming soon...watch this space
but this beaten up old crafter and Mr Mojo needed a bit of a break from deadlines and what better way to wind down than a "no thinking required" paint job and a big thank you to Charlotte from The Papeterie for the Distress Paint Storage Unit to add to the cubbyhole storage collection.
OK...I will admit there was a slight delay getting started while I polished up my specs and got to grips with the "how does it all go together" instructions...
it does suggest that you put it all together before you paint it but hey ho this "pushed for time" crafty person didn't have time to faff around in all the small compartments with a paintbrush...if you apply the paint carefully avoiding the connecting tabs...it's not a problem...so far so good...
and when the going gets tough...forget about a paintbrush...look out the big guns...
Hopefully I'll be sharing the finished article tomorrow
