Tim Holtz/Stampers Anonymous - Home For Christmas

Hello my friends, I'm sharing the mini cards and envelopes I made for the YouTube Live launch of Tim Holtz/Stampers Anonymous Christmas release, using the images and sentiments from the Home For Christmas stamp set.

I created 3 backgrounds on Distress Watercolor card using Evergreen Bough and Tumbled Glass Distress Oxide inks. I stamped the pine branches on the backgrounds, inked with Evergreen Bough Distress Oxide ink, sprinkled with Evergreen Bough Distress Embossing Glaze from the new release and heat set. I stamped the main images with Black Soot Distress Archival Ink and coloured with Distress Watercolor Pencils. While the coloured areas were still wet, I sprinkled with Evergreen Bough and Candied Apple Distress Embossing Glazes and heat set to add a little texture. I repeated this process with the sentiments stamped with Candied Apple Distress Oxide ink. I flicked Distress Resist Spray on to the backgrounds, sprinkled with White Embossing Powder and heat set to create a snowy effect.
I created 3.1/2" square envelopes from white lightweight card using my Envelope Punch Board. I inked Tim Holtz/Stampers Anonymous Ticking and Grain with Evergreen Bough Distress Oxide ink, spritzed with water and stamped on to the front and back of the envelopes.
I stamped the Home For Christmas image on the front of the envelope, inked with Black Soot Distress Archival and the smallest label from Label Frames, inked with Candied Apple Distress Oxide ink.
To finish I trimmed the card panels to 1/8" smaller than 3.1/4", inked the edges with Candied Apple Distress Oxide ink and matted on to 3.1/4" top folding white card blanks.

Have fun when your Christmas stamps and stencils arrive.
Hugs Kath xxx
