Simon Says - Use Dies

Hi Everyone...welcome to another week on the Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge Blog. Thank you for joining us for last week's challenge and we hope you can join us this week too because

and the theme for this week is...

USE DIES

I created a winter card using Simon Says Stamp Postage Collage Cover and Festive Snowman dies from the DieCember release, the Willow Snowflake die to create a sparkling centrepiece. I stamped the snowflake from Simon Says Home For The Holidays and the sentiment from the Winter Wonderland stamp sets.

I coloured an A2 panel of Distress Watercolor card using Shaded Lilac and Dusty Concord Distress Oxide inks and die cut using Simon Says Postage Collage Cover die.

I die-cut again from white card to use as a template, placed it over another A2 panel of Distress Watercolour card and fixed the inked postage pieces back in place using Distress Collage Medium.

With the template still in place, I stamped the snowflake from Simon Says Home For The Holidays stamp set, inked with Villainous Potion Distress Oxide ink.

I die-cut the Willow Snowflake shadow from Simon Says Vellum and Simon Says Silver Glitter card and fixed to the panel with Distress Collage Medium.

I die-cut the Simon Says Festive Snowman from Distress Watercolor and Distress Black HeavyStock and coloured with Villainous Potion Distress Oxide ink using a Round Detail Blending Brush.

I stamped the sentiment from Simon Says Winter Wonderland on to Distress Watercolor card, inked with Versafine Clair Nocturne ink, fussy cut around the edge with my trusty Tim Holtz Mini Recoil Snips and lightly inked the edge with Villainous Potion Distress Oxide ink.

I fixed the snowman and sentiment in place with 3D foam squares and added Simon Says Rainbow Splash Drops to the centres of the snowflakes and snowman's hat.

To finish I matted the panel on to a top-folding A2 white card blank.
