But it's time to ditch the moany groany hat because I'm feeling a bit pleased with myself this morning...I've actually managed to make a challenge card...the first for months and for one of my favourite challenges too. I just happened to have some spare bits and pieces left over from the cubbyhole tag fest which fit perfectly for the challenge this week over at Daring Cardmakers...
DECEMBER FLOWERS
HOLLY & NARCISSUS
and without anymore ado...time to share...
apologies for the peely-wally pic....it is much more vibrant IRL...why do I find it so difficult to take a pic of anything blue and it might have been an idea to wait a little longer for the glossy accents to dry properly.
Tim will be posting Tag 5 shortly but I have chores to do before the big reveal...the old dishwasher decided he didn't want to play any more the other day and I'm waiting for the replacement to arrive on Wednesday so after breakfast I'll be puddling around in the sink with warm soapy suds and you know what...I am rather enjoying it and it's a great way to clean those inky tag fingers.
And guess who will be popping by tomorrow with another of his give-aways....
Hugs Kath xxx

Fab card Kath, and how brill are you keeping up with the tags, your is super, don't tell Tim, but I think I prefer yours.
ReplyDeleteHugs Carol xx
If you hadn't told us I'd have had difficulty working out which was yours and which was Tim's. Love the card as usual.
ReplyDeleteWell - who'd have thought it? I've fallen in love with your snowman - the details are amazing from the little "feather" in his hat (echoing the swirl behind him) to the use of the beige (I'm wearing a colour theory smile!) ribbon & the bobbly scarf he's sporting. If you were to put your tag facing Tim's you'd have a pair looking at one another. I love that he has contrasting coloured arms too & check (ouch!!) out that button.
ReplyDeleteHave a brill day.

Beautiful card Kath, and using left overs too, what could be better? Love your take on the tags, interesting one today though I have to say! I think I prefer the fragments and the second tag to the first one, although I'd never tell Timmie that, lol!!
