Great idea Kath and it is so pretty! I duplicate my paper pads, I think at least it shows we are consistent with what we like if we buy it more than once!!
ReplyDeleteMmm sounds like a good idea but wherebwill you find the time to list them and time to read through them before buying any stamps I wonder. Love the book and must try to play along this week.
ReplyDeleteGreat idea Kath, I have duplicates also, mine are of Tim holtz enbossing folders, how did that happen!, have a good day, Hugs May x x
ReplyDeleteSUPER project Kath. Love it. Good luck finding the time to actually USE it! Meantime, it's enough just to LOOK at it in all its glory. xxx

Really like this idea Kath and yes I think we are all guilty of buying things we already have does that mean we have too much !!! Enjoy the rest of your weekend. Aud x
ReplyDeleteHi Kath, very pretty! I ad the same sort of idea but rather than writing in stamps I simply stamped each image so I had a catalog to easily flick through!

Super idea - have had to resort to the same, but mine are very boring spreadsheet lists on the machine & have Penny Black, Chocolate Baroque & Hero Arts plus Sugar Nellie. Whispers is quite beautiful in those colours & I love your tabs.
ReplyDeleteEnjoy the day.

Fabulous idea - so far I haven't duplicated anything but it is bound to happen one day as I have so many Penny Blacks now LOL!!

Gorgeous book Kath. Great idea to list your stamps. I try to list my PBs, HAs, LOTVs and House Mouse. Works up to a point as long as I remember to write down new purchases. And yes of course I've found duplicates, hasn't everyone? Too easy to forget what we have lol!
ReplyDeleteKat xx
I am sure I have NOTHING like as many stamps as you but I have all mine printed in a book that I take with me to all the shows. I have one of those project folders that takes the plastic A4 pockets - each pocket has 2 sheets back to back and whenever i buy a stamp I stamp the image into the "book". They are grouped into aminals/people/backgrounds etc and when the section is full I add more pockets. Soon it will be too big to take with me and then hubby says I'll have to scan the sheets into an ipad and take that LOL It is great for inspiration and seeing which stamps go well together in size. No duplicates so far (fingers crossed)
ReplyDeleteLove your book Kath, great design and fab idea. Hugs to Buddy.
ReplyDeleteOh I love this Kath. What a great idea. My problem of duplication is not just mine then, that's a relief! I do it with clothes as well. Buy a sweater and hang it next to its twin
ReplyDeleteBeautiful card Kath - my gd would like this one too - IT'S PINK!
ReplyDeleteGood idea about the listing of stamps.
Ooooh Kath this is sooooo pretty.Hope you are keeping warm n snug.Hugs xx Cuddles for Buddy.xx
ReplyDeleteFab idea Kath --- now on the ever growing list to do !!!!

Sweet card! I think, that if you own duplicate stamps, you own too many stamps xD
ReplyDeleteI watched tv, and in Super Nanny she only gives 10 toys to children, and with good behaviour they can earn more. That way children appreciate what they have.
I have been wondering, would that work with stamps? You could sort your stamps in boxes and only allow yourself to use one box at the time, and after using them all, you can move on to the next box. If it works for you, at least all new stamps would get inked :)
I love your card! And I really love the pictures of Buddy! Couldn't be without my pouchers & you must be that way, too!
ReplyDeletethis looks really lovely and so cute! Really nice!
ReplyDeleteWhat a fantastic idea, I really must have a go at doing something similar - oh, and me too, I have quite a few 'duplicates' of stamps and also dies (yes, dies too). I must try harder..........I like Dawn's idea. Regards, Anne Rx
ReplyDeleteOh this is fantastic, lovely! I've just finished stamping all of my stamps into a catalog. Not sure it will help to keep me from buying duplicates but it sure makes it easier to find what I'm looking for. This has inspired me to decorate my catalog.
