Winter Wonderland Shaker Card

Hello my friends, I'm back to share another card using the Simon Says Stamp dies that co-ordinate with Tim Holtz/Stampers Anonymous Holiday Things and Scribbly Christmas stamp sets.

I created a shaker card using the Holiday Things and Scribbly Christmas stamp sets and dies along with Simon Says Stamp Nested Domed Arches dies.
I trimmed Tim Holtz/Idea-ology Christmas 2025 Backdrops paper to 4" x 6", stamped the snowflake from the Holiday Things stamp set, inked with Versamark ink, sprinkled with Simon Says Stamp Gold Embossing Powder and heat set.
I die-cut the shaker frame from Distress Watercolor card using Simon Says Stamp Nested Domed Arches dies, coloured lightly by dragging an Antique Linen Distress Oxide ink pad lightly over the surface. I fixed the arched die-cut temporarily over the panel, re-stamped and embossed the snowflakes.
I die-cut the shaker frame again 4 times and stacked to create dimension.
I coloured the images from the Holiday Things stamp set with Distress Watercolor Pencils from Sets 4 and 5, spritzed with water and stamped on to Distress Watercolor card.
I die-cut the stamped images using the Simon Says Stamp Holiday Things co-ordinating set of dies.
I fixed 2 of the Holiday Things die-cut trees to the background panel, added the stacked arch die-cuts to the panel with Distress Collage Medium and added Tim Holtz/Ranger Distress Rock Candy Chunky Glitter. I fixed acetate to the back of the decorated arch die-cut, trimmed off the excess and fixed in place with Simon Says Stamp Redline tape to create the dimensional shaker element. I added splatters of Dina Wakley White Gloss Spray and fixed the Holiday Things die-cuts in place on the front of the shaker panel with Simon Says Stamp 3D Thin Foam Squares.
I stamped the sentiment from Scribbly Christmas on to a scrap of the Christmas 2025 Backdrops paper, inked with Versamark ink, sprinkled with Simon Says Stamp White Embossing Powder, heat set and die-cut using the Simon Says Stamp co-ordinating sentiment die. I die-cut again 4 times from Distress Watercolor card, stacked to create dimension and fixed to the frame with Distress Collage Medium.
I added Gina K Gold Mini Pearl Embellishments to the centres of the snowflakes and fixed the panel to a white card blank. To finish I added Ranger Glossy Accents to the berries on the die-cuts.

Have fun with whatever you're making.

Simon Says - Thinking Of You

Hi Everyone...welcome to another week on the Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge Blog. Thank you for joining us for last week's challenge and we hope you can join us this week too because

and the theme for this week is...
THINKING OF YOU

I was inspired by the recent Remembrance Day Parade at the Cenotaph in London to create a card to honour the heroism and sacrifice of all those who have gone to war, past and present, to defend our liberty. Let’s not forget those who never returned, those who suffered life changing injuries or those that are left with memories that severely impact their lives.

I trimmed the striped paper from Tim Holtz/Idea-ology Correspondence Vault 25 8" x 8" paper to be slightly smaller than A2 and fixed to a white card blank. I trimmed the second paper to 4" x 5.1/4", inked the edges with Scorched Timber Distress Ink and a Tiny Blending Tool, spritzed with water to create the water droplet effect, distressed the edges and fixed in place with Distress Collage Medium.
I stamped the Big Ben and postmark images from Tim Holtz/Stampers Anonymous London Sights on to the card, inked with Versafine Clair Nocturne ink.
I die-cut the Tim Holtz/Sizzix Modern Floristry Thinlits from Distress Watercolor card coloured with Distress Oxide inks (linked below) and Distress Black Heavystock, curled with my fingers, assembled and fixed in place with Simon Says Stamp Thin Foam Squares to create dimension. I added Tim Holtz/Idea-ology Photobooth.
I added Gina K Gold Mini Pearl embellishments to each poppy.
To finish I added a Tim Holtz/Idea-ology Thoughts Label Sticker popped up on Simon Says Stamp Thin Foam Squares to add dimension.

Have A Merry Christmas

Hello my friends, Simon Says Stamp have just launched their latest release And Everything Nice with lots of fabulous holiday season products to inspire your creativity. You can check out everything in the release HERE.

I created a card using the Simon Says Stamp Wispy Pine Needle Frame Embossing Folder, Merry Cover Die, sentiments from the Holly Jolly 4" x 6" stamp set all from the release and Tim Holtz/Idea-ology Christmas 2025 Backdrops Paper.
I trimmed Distress Watercolor card to 4" x 5.1/4" and coloured using Peeled Paint and Rustic Wilderness Distress Oxide inks using my usual go-to smooshing technique followed by a spritz of water to create that familiar waterdroplet look.
I embossed the panel using Simon Says Stamp Wispy Pine Needle Frame Embossing Folder and sanded back the detail with a Mini Round Blending Tool and Sanding Disk.
I die-cut the Merry Cover twice from Distress Watercolor card and layered on the panel to create dimension.
I die-cut the Merry Cover again from Tim Holtz/Idea-ology Christmas 2025 Backdrops paper and fixed the letters back into the negative spaces.
I stamped the sentiments from the Holly Jolly stamp set on to scraps of Distress Watercolor card, inked with Lumberjack Plaid Distress Oxide ink, sprinkled with Simon Says Stamp Clear Embossing Powder, heat set, fussy cut and fixed to the panel with Simon Says Stamp 3D Thin Foam Squares.
To finish I fixed to the panel to an A2 white card blank and added splatters of Simon Says Stamp Pawsitively Perfect White Splatter Medium.

Joy To The World

Hello my friends, Simon Says Stamp have just released 6 new die sets which co-ordinate with Tim Holtz/Stampers Anonymous stamp sets for the Holiday Season. You can check them out HERE and tune into the Live Launch over on Simon Says Stamp YouTube Channel HERE for lots of inspiration from the amazing samples.

I'm sharing a card I made using the snowflake from Tim Holtz/Stampers Anonymous Holiday Things stamp set and co-ordinating dies from Simon Says Stamp along with Tim Holtz/Sizzix Alphanumeric Bulletin Thinlits.
I inked the snowflake image from Tim Holtz/Stampers Anonymous Holiday Things with Versamark ink, sprinkled with Simon Says Stamp White Embossing Powder and heat set. I smooshed Faded Jeans and Dusty Concord Distress Oxide inks on to my craft media mat, spritzed with water, dragged the panel through the inks, dried, tapped back into the inks repeatedly until I was with the coverage and trimmed to 4" x 5.1/4". I inked the snowflake image again with the same two inks, spritzed with water and stamped on to Distress Watercolor card. I die-cut the images using Simon Says Stamp Holiday Things co-ordinating set of dies and added splatters of Distress Hickory Smoke Distress Spritz to the panel.
I die-cut "JOY" from Distress Watercolor card using Tim Holtz/Sizzix Aphanumeric Bulletin Thinlits and fixed to the panel using Simon Says 3D Thin Foam Squares.
I added the die-cut snowflakes also popped up with 3D Thin Foam Squares, added a Silver Metallic Cord bow, Gina K Silver Mini Pearl Mix Embellishments and Tim Holtz/Idea-ology Christmas Metallic Sticker.

To finish I matted the panel on to a top folding A2 white card blank.

Tim Holtz - Scribbly Christmas

Hello my friends, Simon Says Stamp have just released 6 new sets of dies to co-ordinate with Tim Holtz/Stampers Anonymous stamp sets, you can check them out HERE and tune into the Live Launch over on Simon Says Stamp YouTube Channel HERE for lots of inspiration from the amazing samples.

I'm on a mission to get organised for Christmas and decided to make cards and tags using the Scribbly Christmas stamps and co-ordinating dies.
I smooshed Old Paper, Bundled Sage and Mowed Lawn Distress Oxide inks on to the craft mat on my Glass Studio Mat, spritzed with water and dragged an A4 sheet of Distress Watercolor card through the inks, dried and tapped back in repeatedly to pick up the remaining droplets of ink, dried between layers until I was happy with the coverage.
I trimmed a 4" x 5.1/4" panel from the sheet, inked one of the trees images with Mowed Lawn Distress Oxide ink, spritzed with water and stamped on to the panel.
I die-cut a circle aperture and inked around the edges with Scorched Timber Distress Ink using a Tiny Blending Tool.
I fixed the panel to Distress Kraft HeavyStock trimmed to be 1/8" larger and added splatters of Flickering Candle Distress Mica Stain.
I inked the same tree image with Mowed Lawn and Scorched Timber Distress Oxide inks, spritzed with water and stamped on to Distress Watercolor card.
I die-cut the trees using the Scribbly Christmas co-ordinating dies, fixed in place with Simon Says Stamp Thin Foam Squares and coloured the stars using Flickering Candle Distress Mica Stain and a small paintbrush.
I smooshed Mowed Lawn Distress Oxide ink on to my craft mat, spritzed with water and used to colour Tim Holtz/Idea-ology Mummy Cloth. I fixed the Mummy Cloth across the panel, added a bow and matted the panel on to a top-folding A2 white card blank.
I inked the sentiment from Scribbly Christmas with Versamark ink, stamped on to a scrap of Distress Kraft HeavyStock, sprinkled with White Embossing Powder, heat set, die-cut with the co-ordinating die and fixed in place with Simon Says Stamp Thin Foam Squares. To finish I added tiny gold pearls from Gina K Mini Pearl Embellishment Mix.
I created the tags from the remaining coloured Distress Watercolor card using tag and circle dies and decorated in the same way as the card using different images and sentiment from the Scribbly Christmas set of stamps and co-ordinating dies.

I'll be back soon to share more makes with the other co-ordinating dies. In the meantime, have fun with whatever you are making.
