I can't begin to tell you how fabulous they are...very well made and sturdy and I just know that I'm going to need more for the planned refurbishment and rearrangement of the cubbyhole but the way things are going around here at the moment that well may be scheduled for completion in 2015 so in the meantime they'll be going on the "long long...so many many things to do" list.
But I found myself distracted yet again and before I could stop myself...started removing years worth of "12 Tags" from their mucky dust gathering canvasses...another "why did you start this now" job...
into a much more suitable storage system...another Rob The MDF Man album...
decorated with Tim's Laboratorie Paper Stash...
and of course the front cover now needs a bit of decoration...a chance to use the Writing Desk Die (with that gorgeous feather) that's been gathering dust in the cubbyhole but I have to restrain myself from going off on yet another creative tangent with the next happy mail parcels to arrive...more Worn Covers...ring binders and page pockets...and my Ribbon Girl DT goodies and last but not least...a parcel of yummy stuff from Craftwork Cards...
and concentrate on one thing at a time...I've got my "today is going to be the day that I nail the "12 Tags of 2014" April tag" hat on...focus...focus...focus...
and barring a lightning bolt from above...by hook or by crook...come hell or high water...I'll be back tomorrow to share.
Hugs Kath xxx

ReplyDeleteI looooove the MDF man's beautiful MDF goodies! I got one of those sets of drawers recently too (a 4 drawer one), which my daughter claimed the minute I'd finished it to put her jewellery in.
ReplyDeleteBut now I'm thinking that I'd need some more for me. Those 5 drawer ones in fact. They'd be brilliant for storing embellishments in!
Have fun with all your lovelies! x
It must feel good to get that kitting all done and dusted. The drawers look great, I have the 3 drawer one and they are excellent quality for sure. Love all the gorgeous goodies on your desk too. Hugs, Anne x

ReplyDeleteI've been away for 3 days with my hubby in Bristol and I didn't get a chance to catch up with your blog. I can see why you get side-tracked when you have so many loverleey goodies(Bristol had that effect on me),and the rainin' cats and dogs card was so appropriate for the weather we had too. Looks like you had fun at Brodie's Open Afternoon -I'll be singing The wee Room song all day now

Well isn't that tag storage rather top notch Kath! Love the look of you mdf drawers too. Must keep an eye out for these... Here's hoping your cold remedies are having the desired effect so you can remain on target for getting your Tim tag completed. Sending you healing hugs, Jenny x
ReplyDeleteYour new goodies look fab Kath - hope you get to play with them soon. Goodness knows when I will be crafting again - not until I've finished this huge sort out I'm having. How did I accumilate so much "stuff"? This evening came across all my pattern cutting blocks, patterns and several big files for my City and Guilds exams which I took over 45 years ago! Who's going to want them after I've gone - and as I haven't looked at them in goodness knows how long - do I need them too? Arrgghhhh! My recycling bin is already full, otherwise I may be tempted to get in it too...... X
