Hi folks...Tim's Halloween Inspiration Series has come to an eerie end but you can check out all the inspiration from Week 3 over on
Tim's Blog...
I've still got a few projects to share with you and today's it's the turn of a trio of Happy Pumpkinheads...
you can't help but feel happy when you look at these smiley pumpkin faces.
I started off by tearing a strip of masking paper and fixing it to the bottom of a piece of Distress Watercolor card. I then smooshed Twisted Citron and a little Peeled Paint Distress Oxide inks on to my non-stick craft sheet and you all know the drill by now, drying, spritzing with water and picking up the left over ink droplets.
I stamped the three pumpkins on to the card with Black Archival and again on to a piece of Distress Watercolor card coloured with Wild Honey and Spiced Marmalade Distress Oxides, cut out and fixed over the stamped images. I used Peeled Paint Distress Oxide ink and the Ranger Detailer Brush to create shadows around the bottom of the pumpkins. I removed the masking paper and stamped the sentiment from Stampers Anonymous Haunted House with Black Archival, added Halloween Remnant Rubs, shaded around the edges of the card with Vintage Photo Distress Oxide ink using a mini round blending tool and added splatters of Spiced Marmalade to the sentiment section.
I fiinshed off by adding shadows to the wording with a Spiced Marmalade Distress Marker. I'll be back soon to share my last project, a very spooky Vignette Box, in the meantime, have fun whatever you are making.
Happy Crafting

ReplyDeleteTotally stunning !
ReplyDeleteI love those pumpkins - such fun. I've been playing with my Stamping platform recently creating shadow stamping - so much easier than trying to line stuff up on acrylic blocks.
