Hello my friends, woohoo Simon Says Stamp Jolly Season November 2026 card kit has arrived in the cubbyhole. The kit is full to the brim with fabulous products for your holiday makes. It is still available to purchase at time of this post and you can check it out HERE, subscribe if you don't already or if you wish, also purchase individual items from the kit.
I created a card with a snow globe shaker ornament using products from the kit, easily removeable from the card so that the recipient can hang it on their Christmas tree.
I die-cut the snow globe back from white cardstock, fixed the dies together to create the aperture and die-cut 8 times. I layered 7 die-cuts and set aside one for later.I die-cut the background for the shaker from one of the card fronts included in the kit and fixed to the snow globe back. I stamped the image from the Jolly Season stamp set, coloured with Distress Watercolor Pencils, die-cut with the Jolly Season co-ordinating dies and fixed to the background. The dies are an add-on purchase and are not included in the kit. I die-cut the Snow Globe snowflakes and fixed in place with Pawsitively Perfect Craft Glue. I applied a thin layer of Distress Collage Medium on the snow areas of the die-cut, sprinkled with Distress Rock Candy Glitter and fixed the layered die-cuts on top to create the well for the shaker bits.I added Distress Mica Flakes and Simon Says Stamp White Shaker Balls and fixed Simon Says Stamp Silver Metallic Cord in place to create a hanger for the ornament.I die-cut the acetate included in the kit, fixed to the back of the Snow Globe die-cut I had set aside and fixed in place to seal the shaker. I added the base section of the Snow Globe die-cut from Sizzix Neutral cardstock and decorated with a Silver Metallic Cord double bow.I stamped the sentiment, inked with Candied Apple, the greenery inked with Peeled Paint and Forest Moss Distress Oxide inks and die-cut with the co-ordinating Jolly Season dies.I trimmed the Schoolhouse Red cardstock included in the kit to 4.1/4" x 5.1/2" and fixed to an A2 white card blank. I applied Distress Texture Paste Opaque through the Snow Flurries stencil also included in the kit.Once the paste was dry, I fixed the Snow Globe Shaker Ornament to the card using a piece of repositionable tape, fixed the sentiment and greenery in place with Pawsitively Perfect Craft Glue and Thin 3D Foam Squares and added Simon Says Stamp Cherry Red Pawsitively Dazzling Gems.
I'll be back soon to share more makes using this fabulous kit.
Hugs Kath xxx
