Penny Black Saturday...Week 69

Morning folks and it's Saturday..and it's the beginning of the weekend and time to get those Penny Blacks looked out again.   Thank you all for having a go at the colour challenge last week and boy did you come up with fantastic cards....you really are such a talented bunch.

I must admit the old brain had to go into overdrive for this one.....just couldn't think of a Penny Black image I could use until I remembered this beautiful tree and because it has no leaves.....perfect....and it definitely needs a sentiment.....but to be honest that had to wait....can't overtax the old brain too much.
We are definitely into Autumn now.....and I do love when the leaves start to change colour and go that reddy coppery gold.....and then the bit I am not too keen on.....when they all blow off the trees and before you know the garden is under a carpet of leaves.......you just get them swept up and lo and behold another pile arrives blown in from someone else's garden...one of those never ending jobs.
We have another fabulous prize this week for one lucky winner.....

    OMG Kath this is a truly stunning card, the moment I saw it I just couldn't stop staring at it. The colours colouring embellies everything just blend perfectly together, now I am just going to have to have this stamp.
