a new inkpad storage unit which needs to be painted white but it will have to join the very long queue unless the Christmas Fairy pops in with a paintbrush to work some magic. The work surfaces have been Annie Sloan'ed and waxed...the cubbyhole is back to being an operational crafty space and I'm loving the new uncluttered look...
but there's the small matter of emptying this lot and painting all those nooks and crannies...a mammoth task if ever I saw one but the chance to have a good old clear out at the same time...a task for the " marooned by the snowy weather" cubbyhole crew if the Met Office forecast is accurate...
and this colourful "on his wobby last legs" chap has to go...
but first I need to find some sort of storage for all the bits and bobs contained therein...silly moi for thinking I would hop across to the Argos website on Friday morning for a nosey around but it wasn't the Bob's Your Uncle experience I was hoping for...I forgot it was Black Friday didn't I...to be told I was 889th in the queue soon scuppered that idea...so it's back to the drawing board and the hunt continues.
Hugs Kath xxx
Wow, it all looks amazing Kath! I love your present to yourself, I keep looking at these, then printing the photo and asking carpenter hubby if he can make me something like that, oh yes he says, but I'm still waiting.....
ReplyDeleteMight have to buy one myself.
I'm turning green with envy, Kath...all that lovely organisation and space. With a little bit of luck (sounds like a song doesn't it!) you may be completely finished by the time that big fella in the red suit turns up!
ReplyDeleteHugs,
Jennifer. x

Oh if only I could emulate your clean and tidy look! Don't know if they still do them but I have some metal drawers which fit under the desk and hold foolscap sized papers, they have 6 or 12 drawers and they are on wheels - got them from Tesco Extra. Plain grey - just in case you can't find anything else. Hugs, Anne xx
ReplyDeleteАх! Мне б такую комнату!..
ReplyDeletelooking good Kath - very restful colour however I wouldnt like to have to paint all of those nooks and crannies - and I like Anne Redferns comment about drawers that hold 'foolscap' paper - that takes me back!! wrap up warm, looks like it's going to be very chilly! Mary x
