Hi folks...thank you for your lovely comments here and on Facebook on yesterday's Infusion cards and for the folks who e-mailed me..YES...you definitely need to get some of these little pots of magicness but be warned they are very addictive. It's difficult to explain exactly how they work in words but click
HERE to watch an excellent video from Shari Carroll and
HERE for another. Today's cards are a little bit grungier...again working on Ranger Watercolor Paper with just 2 colours..."The Sage" and "Lemoncello"...brushing the colours out with Gel Medium. I deliberately left the edges free so that I could create a distressed vintage look border by swiping with Gathered Twigs Distress Ink.
stamped the gorgeous flowers and sentiment from Simon Says Stamp "Lovely Spring" stamp set with Black Archival and added some sequins...
stamped the text from PaperArtsy Words 4 and add some Tim Holtz Idea-ology Big Chat Stickers...
Well today's the big day...the EU Referendum...make sure you go and vote...this is important...an opportunity to make changes and build a better future.
See you all tomorrow for Day 3 of Infusion Magic...

Looks great Kath, I must try the gel medium, I quite like the effect
ReplyDeleteMorning, Kath
ReplyDeleteAnother stunner today! Although I've already got a set of Brusho powders, you're tempting me to perhaps try these out as well! Maybe I'll get the gel medium first and see if I can create the same kind of magic with that and my Brushos...a wee bit cheaper that way lol.
It's a stunning day today after a week of rain, typical as my sister went home from her visit on Monday, disapointed that she got rained on almost every day she was here lol. The problem now is that I can see all the weeds popping up in my front garden, after it took me THREE DAYS to clear it a couple of weeks ago. It looks like I'm going to have to bite the bullet and head off with my trusty hoe before the rain comes back. Ah well, another day that I can't get any crafting done :(
