Simon Says - Use Patterned Paper

Hi Everyone...welcome to another week on the Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge Blog. Thank you for joining us for last week's challenge and we hope you can join us this week too because

The first challenge of the month is when the team showcase one particular brand or company and this time we are all using the fabulous products from Stamperia. You don't have to use these products to join in the challenge but we would love to see how you use them if you have them in your stash.
We are welcoming back the lovely and very talented Alison Bomber and if you don't already follow her blog, please pop by, you will be in for a real treat.

The theme for this week is...
USE PATTERNED PAPER
I made 2 cards using Stamperia Secret Diary Rice Paper included in Simon Says October Card Kit, trimmed to create backgrounds, die-cut slim frames using Waffle Flower A7 Layers, coloured with Antique Linen, Vintage Photo and Prize Ribbon Distress Spritz from the new release and trimmed the images and sentiments from the Rice Paper to create the focal points on the cards.
I trimmed sections of the Stamperia Secret Diary Rice Paper and fixed to A2 panels of Distress Watercolor card using Distress Collage Medium and a small Distress Collage Brush.
I selected floral images from the Rice Paper and fixed to Distress Watercolor card using the same method.
I die-cut 2 slim frames from Distress Watercolor card using Waffle Flower A7 Layers die and spritzed with Antique Linen, Vintage Photo and Prize Ribbon Distress Spritz from the new release.
I fixed the frames in place with Distress Collage Medium, fussy cut around the florals and sentiments and fixed in place with 3D foam squares.
I added Tim Holtz Idea-ology Cello Tape Stickers
I added splatters of Vintage Photo and Prize Ribbon Distress Spritz, dragged the Scorched Timber Distress Ink pad around the edges of the panels and love how the ink wicked out slightly on the Rice Paper.
To finish I added black twine bows and matted the panels on to white card blanks.
