A big hello to all my lovely bloggy buds from your furry bundle of golden deliciousness...apologies for neglecting my blogging duties for so long but I got caught up in the whole Olympic fever thing...cubbyhole life as we know it went into topsy turvy overdrive...we turned into couch potato snackers...snoozing time was limited by all the whooping and a-hollering...strolls cut short in case we missed any Golden moments and my weekly pamper sessions forgotten...speak about going to the dogs...time for the cubbyhole crew to ditch the extra inches on the waistline and that scruffy "just got out of bed" look...
my doggy mates won't recognise me after yesterday's spa day...a good old session with a brush and I'm back to my usual gorgeousness with shiny locks that any top model would be proud of...
but I may have my work cut out with my crafty Old Mum...we need to up the anti in the fitness routine to get rid of those extra snacky inches...strolls are not going to be enough and my suggestion of her getting a bike went down like a lead balloon but you know me...I'm a dab hand at the "dog with a bone" thing so I'm going to keep plugging away and wearing her down...why don't you join in the "Get On Your Bike Mum" petition.
and I have a little give-away...
which is cluttering up the cubbyhole and desperate to go to a good home...not claimed by the winner at the Penny Black Saturday Blog Hop...honestly why do folks enter these things and then not come back to claim their prize...sometimes I despair of you crazy crafters so if you want to put your name in the hat....leave your name with Mr Inklinz before 11pm tonight and we'll announce the winner tomorrow

ReplyDeleteBuddy, you are looking good and I so love your posts. I always have to read them out to my hubby if he is here. I hope you are back to your normal walks now not being hurried along so Mum can get back to the TV. Hugs xx
ReplyDeleteLooking good Buddy! I think everyone is struggling to get back to normal after the Olympicfest we've just had. Keep on at your Mum about the bike, I'm sure she'll give in eventually.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the chance at the gorgeous giveaway. Have a fab weekend, hope the weather's nice for your morning strolls. Linda xx
Wow buddy you are prove that blondes have more fun! Thanks for the chance to win!
ReplyDeleteHi Buddy, loving the look of your golden locks today - gorgeous. Maybe you should try to tempt your Mum with horseback riding instead, bet she would love to take that up again - not sure you would be allowed to run alongside though.........so maybe not. Thanks for the chance to win the candy, it looks beautiful - like you! Crafty hugs, Anne xxxx
ReplyDeletewhat a gorgeous hunk you are Buddy, male model of the dog world!
ReplyDeleteIt looks like you had a really good pamper by how shiny your locks are - now I bet you loved every minute of that. Thanks for chasing up loose ends - I'll put my name in the hat.
ReplyDeleteNow a bike - I can never reach the pedals & even if I have to buy child sized trainers I am not buying a child's bike!! Migraines & bikes don't mix anyway!
Paula (PEP)
Thanks Buddy. Looking real swell. Carolxx
ReplyDeleteWell Buddy mummy is very busy today with a project me thinks...hope you are having fun Kath, crafty hugs,
ReplyDeleteErika.
Wow Buddy you are looking fantastic and very dapper.Big thank you to you and your Mum for the chance to win these gorgeous goodies.Big hugs.Debbie x
ReplyDeleteGlamor personified Buddy, what more can I say, you look amazing!
ReplyDeleteI can understand you poor mum not showing so much interest in the old exercise though, she always seems to be chasing her tail so I don’t really know where she would find the time for cycling to be honest. May be if you stand guard over the treats it might help the situation.
Can’t imagine why anyone wouldn’t claim a fantastic prize like that but I would love the chance to give it a new home please.
Happy Crafting!

Great to see you in blogland Buddy. Your coat looks beautiful, well done to your Mummy the spa session. Hope you and your Mummy have a lovely weekend of long walks. Hugs anesha
ReplyDeleteYou look like you've had a wonderful shampoo and set there Buddy, totally gorgeous again. Shame about the goodies not being claimed but that's good news for us though as we get a second chance at them! There's also a PBSC DT member who offered a prize on the blog hop but hasn't drawn it yet, nothing posted on her blog for ages, can you ask your mum if she's alright cause I'm getting worried about her! Good luck with the bike, it's lots of fun and I ride mine a lot.
ReplyDeleteHugs
Brenda
oh wow look at mr Handsome with his golden locks lookin good Buddy and what a fab giveaway thx so much for the chance xx
ReplyDeleteBuddy - what a veritable Adonis of the dog world you are! Tell your Mum to just walk a bit faster - cycling on the roads is too risky these days. love X
ReplyDeleteNice to see you Buddy. Your hair looks amazing. That's one thing about Blue and Max since they're Labradors with nice short hair they usually look quite tidy. Whether they are nice or not is another matter, I think Max is made of some sort of stuff that attracts dirt.
ReplyDeleteThanks for a chance to win these lovely goodies.
