woke up to a little bit of drizzle but this "ever the optimist" person was confident it would clear...bigga mistake-a...by the time I arrived it was chucking it down so I took a right at the roundabout and headed home...slightly miffed but hey...a minor inconvenience...not the end of the world. Famous last words that almost came back to haunt me when a moron who urgently needs to visit an optician and then go home and read his highway code (my copy definitely says "slow down when approaching a roundabout and give way to traffic from the right) cut in front of me like a bolt from the blue...how I managed to avoid hitting him I'll never know...no chance of getting the number of this idiot Speedy Gonzales but lady luck sure was looking down on me although it may well be that I've used up another of my nine lives.
Enough excitement for one day...time to get home...lock the door and head to the safety of the cubbyhole...to play with the goodies that arrived from my lovely buddy Sarah at Practical Publishing...
and what better way to get the blood pressure back to normal than a relaxing session with my favourite favourite Tim Holtz stamps...Flower Garden...
The good news is...my scary driving adventure sure worked wonders on the old brain cells and the Sunday crossword was completed in record time...
and no way was I cluttering up my space again...
so there's a boot load piled up in the garage...I wonder how long it will take hubby to notice.
See you all tomorrow
Hugs Kath xxx
It really is a shame that these idiots never get caught, but I am glad that you are OK! We had a similarly cold, wet and very windy day here but today the sun is shining and it really lifts the old spirits! Love your package of goodies - and you always do beautiful things with Tim's florals! Hope the sun is shining on you too today... Hugs, Anne xx
ReplyDeleteGlad you made it home in one piece despite the speed idiot.
ReplyDeleteEnjoy a lovely time playing with all those super goodies.
