Out and about...

Hi folks...there's nothing quite like a fun day out and about with the grandkiddies...crikey where do they get their boundless energy from and the ability to out chat even this chatterbox. Our mystery tour took us to Alford in the heart of rural Aberdeenshire...Haughton Country Park to be precise and the weather was glorious...
 and while the boys kicked a football around...
 and tucked into a mid morning snack...
 Grandma soaked up the sun under this gnarly old tree...wondering who RM & SM were...
surrounded by a host of golden daffodils...
After a yummy lunch at The Bistro...we headed home for a chill out afternoon...the kiddos watching Paddington and me having an afternoon snooze...must have been all that fresh air.  I'll see you all tomorrow for a brand new Colour Challenge over at The Ribbon Girls...until then enjoy your weekend.

    It is not difficult to see where they get their boundless energy from it - it clearly runs in the family! Your photos are lovely and that tree is wonderful. Paddington is on my list of 'must see' but never quite get to the cinema films.... Have a lovely weekend. Hugs, Anne xx

    Sounds like a wonderful day was had by all. The photos are lovely, and I swoon at the sight of daffodils...I adore them, but where we live in Australia, it is too hot to grow them.
