Tim Holtz/Stampers Anonymous - Funny Farm "What's Moo"

Hi folks...I'm seriously behind with the crafty list this week, desperately playing catch up after a fun weekend of doing absolutely nothing. I spent Saturday, Sunday and the whole day Monday curled up on the sofa with my laptop, indulging my passion for all things Tim Holtz, watching all the demo videos from the show, the up close and personal views of all the new Tim Holtz releases from Stampers Anonymous/Sizzix/Ranger/Ideaology and Tonic and drooling over the beautiful samples from all the amazing designers. I'm sharing one of the cards I made for the Stampers Anonymous Booth using one of my favourite stamp sets from the new release, very aptly named Funny Farm and a huge thank you to Tim, Mario, Paula and Stampers Anonymous for inviting me again to join them on this creative journey.

I inked this adorable cow with Black Soot Archival and stamped on to a panel of Distress Watercolor card, trimmed to be slightly smaller than an A6 card.
I applied a colour wash of Weathered Wood and Stormy Sky Distress Oxide inks across the top section of the panel and flicked on some splatters of the ink left on my Glass Media Mat.
I repeated the process on the bottom half with a wash of Peeled Paint Distress Oxide ink.
I stamped 2 of the images from Tim Holtz/Stampers Anonymous Stitches, inked with Peeled Paint Distress Oxide on the bottom section to create tufts of grass.
I die cut a circle using Sizzix Circle dies and stamped the lined image from Mini Media Marks inked with Fossilized Amber Distress Oxide to create a cross hatch pattern and fixed behind the die cut circle. I stamped the dots image with Stormy Sky Distress Oxide on the sky section.
I re-stamped the cow on to scraps of Distress Watercolor card, fussy cut, coloured the nose and udder with Spun Sugar and the eyes with Peeled Paint Distress Markers and fixed in place with Tim Holtz/Sizzix Mini Foam Adhesive.
I inked the edge of an Idea-ology Small Talk Snarky Sticker with Stormy Sky Distress Oxide ink and fixed in place with Mini Foam Adhesive.
I threaded an Idea-ology Tiny Bell Findings with white thread, tied in a bow and fixed to the die cut circle using Ranger Glossy Accents. I inked the "what's moo" sentiment from the Funny Farm stamp set with Black Soot Archival, stamped on to a scrap of card coloured with Stormy Sky, shaded around the edges with Black Soot Distress Marker and fixed in place with Mini Foam Adhesive.
and the best treat of all was our adorable Professor taking time out to give us a tour of the Idea-ology Stampers Anonymous, Ranger, Sizzix and Tonic booths from the show floor and I did intend sharing them all here but Mr Blogger had other "playing silly beggar" ideas. So I'm sharing the walk through the Stampers Anonymous booth and it is always such a thrill to see my cards up there on the wall alongside so many talented designers and friends. You can check out the other booth tour videos at Tim's 2019 Creativation Recap over on his blog. Make yourself a cuppa, find yourself a comfy sofa and enjoy.

I'll be back soon to share another "Funny Farm" card and will be sharing lots of projects using the new releases over the coming weeks and months.
Hugs Kath xxx
