Hello my friends, it's that time of the month when Simon Says Stamp release their monthly card kit and once again the Warmest Wishes December Card Kit has lots of goodies to get you in the mood for some Christmas crafting. You can check out the contents of the kit, subscribe if you don't already and purchase individual items from the kit HERE.
I created a card using the Warmest Wishes 6" x 8" stamp set, the Bundled Up Embossing Folder and Pawsitively Saturated Mini Ink Cubes included in the kit.
I trimmed the Neenah Solar White card included in the kit to 4" x 5.1/4" and die-cut an aperture using Simon Says Nested Domed Arches die and the stamped the sentiment from the Warmest Wishes stamp set inked with Versafine Clair Nocturne Ink.I embossed a second 4" x 5.1/4" panel of Neenah Solar White card with the Bundled Up Embossing Folder, coloured the centre lightly with Artichoke Pawsitively Saturated ink using a Simon Says Blending Brush and fixed to an A2 white card blank.I stamped the images from Warmest Wishes on to Distress Watercolor card, inked with the 3 Pawsitively Saturated Ink Cubes included in the kit and fussy cut using Tim Holtz/Tonic Studios Recoil Mini Snips.I fixed the aperture panel to the card popped up with Simon Says Foam Strips to create dimension and added the Warmest Wishes images popped up with 3D foam squares. To finish I added Ranger Glossy Accents to the berries and a twine bow to the mittens.
I'll be back soon to share more makes with this fabulous card kit, in the meantime, have fun with whatever you're making.
Just love that EF, its perfect for the time of year, beautiful card as always Kath. xx
