Hello my friends, woohoo, another two Christmas cards ticked off the list, created using Simon Says Stamp Home For The Holidays and Tim Holtz/Stampers Anonymous Mini Weathered Winter stamp sets.
I trimmed Simon Says Stamp Fog Gray cardstock to create 2 - 4.3/4" x 6.3/4" panels and stamped the cottage and sentiment from Home For The Holidays inked with Versafine Clair Nocturne ink. I stamped the large snowflake from Tim Holtz/Stampers Anonymous Mini Weathered Winter, inked with Versamark ink, sprinkled with Simon Says Detail Sparkle embossing powder and heat set. I stamped a small snowflake from Home For The Holidays with Versamark ink, sprinkled with Simon Says White Detail Embossing Powder and heat set. I coloured the cottage image with Brushed Corduroy, Lumberjack Plaid, Hickory Smoke, Picket Fence, Shabby Shutters and Mowed Lawn Distress Watercolor Pencils. I sprinkled Stampendous Shabby White Embossing Enamel over the panels and heat set from underneath.
I added shading to the snow areas of the image and around the sentiment with the Hickory Distress Watercolor Pencil. I inked around the edges of the panel with Hickory Smoke and Scorched Timber Distress Inks using mini round blending tools.
I stamped the smallest snowflake from Simon Says Home For The Holidays, inked with Scorched Timber Distress Ink, to fill in the blanks.
To finish I matted the panels on to 5" x 7" white card blanks.
Just a few more cards to make and then time to move on to Christmas cooking, woohoo my favourite part of Christmas. Enjoy your weekend and have fun with whatever you are creating.
