Tim Holtz/Stampers Anonymous - Love Notes

Hello my crafty friends, woohoo have you heard the news!! Two very special surprises have just been revealed over on Simon Says Stamp YouTube Channel, one from Tim Holtz and the other from Simon Says Stamp. I'm sharing a card I made with the Tim Holtz/Stampers Anonymous Love Notes, a special Valentine release with lots of hearts and love sentiments.

I coloured an A2 panel of Distress Watercolor card by smooshing my favourite Distress Custom Blend ink pad (Antique Linen/Old Paper Distress Ink Re-inkers and Speckled Egg/Frayed Burlap Distress Oxide Re-inkers) on to the craft mat on my Glass Media Mat, pulled the panel through the ink, spritzed with water and dried. I repeatedly tapped the panel into the ink to pick up the remaining droplets.
I inked the outline heart stamp from Love Notes with Scorched Timber Distress Oxide ink and stamped repeatedly on the background.
I repeated the process with one of the sentiments, inked with Festive Berries Distress Oxide ink.
I die-cut a panel from Distress Mixed Media HeavyStock using Tim Holtz/Sizzix Collection Thinlits and stamped the Lined Background from Tim Holtz/Stampers Anonymous Composition and Lined, inked with Festive Berries Distress Oxide ink.
I punched a line of holes down the left edge of the panel and snipped into each hole with scissors to create a "page torn from a notebook" effect. I stamped the heart from Love Notes, inked with Festive Berries Distress Oxide ink and the outline and sentiments with Black Soot Distress Archival. I used Tim Holtz Paper Distresser to roughen up the edges of the panel, inked around the edges with Scorched Timber Distress Ink using a Tiny Blending Tool and fixed to a second panel die-cut from Idea-ology Neutrals dark brown cardstock
I die-cut the tag from Distress Mixed Media HeavyStock using the Collector Thinlits, die-cut the numbers, placed a scrap of card coloured with Festive Berries Distress Oxide ink behind, stamped the small heart from Love Notes with the same ink and inked around the edge using Scorched Timber Distress ink.
I fixed the background panel to left over Idea-ology packaging with machine stitching and fixed to a 5" x 7" white card blank. I fixed the heart panel in place with Distress Collage Medium, popped the tag up on foam squares to create dimension and added a twine bow.
I spritzed Idea-ology Bouquet Findings with Antique Linen Distress Spray Stain and fixed to the panel with Distress Collage Medium.

This is such a versatile stamp set and could be used for many occasions, birthday, anniversary, wedding or just to let a friend know you are thinking of them. Have fun with whatever you are creating
Hugs Kath xxx
