Simon Says - Add A Sentiment

Hi Everyone...welcome to another week on the Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge Blog. Thank you for joining us for last week's challenge and we hope you can join us this week too because

and the theme for this week is...

ADD A SENTIMENT

I created a simple card using one of the floral images from Tim Holtz/Stampers Anonymous French Garden as the focal point, coloured with Distress Watercolor Pencils. I stamped the keyboard image from Deconstructed randomly on the background and used Sign Painter to add a big and bold sentiment. 

I stamped the floral image from Tim Holtz/Stampers Anonymous French Garden on to a 4" x 5.1/4" panel of Distress Watercolor card, inked with Black Soot Distress Archival and coloured using Picked Raspberry, Carved Pumpkin and Peeled Paint Distress Watercolor Pencils and a Distress Detailer Waterbrush.

I inked the keyboard image from Tim Holtz/Stampers Anonymous Deconstructed with Peeled Paint Distress Oxide ink and holding the stamp in my hand, stamped randomly over the background.

I inked the letters from Tim Holtz/Stampers Anonymous Sign Painter with Picked Raspberry and Carved Pumpkin Distress Oxide inks and stamped on to Distress Watercolor card.

There are co-ordinating dies for the Sign Painter stamp set available from Simon Says Stamp (linked below) but I don't have them yet so I used my trusty Tim Holtz/Tonic Studios Recoil Mini Snips to fussy cut leaving a white border around the edge of the letters. I fixed in place popped up with strips of 3D foam.

I added a stamp from Tim Holtz/Idea-ology Postmarked Sticker book and stamped the cancellation mark and small circle image from Tim Holtz/Stampers Anonymous Tidbits, inked with Black Soot Distress Archival ink.

To finish I matted the panel on to a panel of Simon Says Green Leaf cardstock, trimmed 1/8" larger and fixed to an A2 white card blank.
