Simon Says - Beautiful Buttercup

Hello my friends, I'm back to share another card using the gorgeous Paper Rose Botanical Blooms patterned paper and Beautiful Buttercup die from Simon Says Stamp Graceful Flowers August Card Kit. I trimmed the Paper Rose Botanical Blooms paper to 2" x 5.3/8", fixed to a panel of Simon Says Black cardstock trimmed to 4" x 5.1/4" and added splatters of Fossilized Amber Distress Spritz.

I die-cut Simon Says Beautiful Buttercup from Distress Watercolor card and coloured using Mustard Seed, Fossilized Amber and Peacock Feathers Distress Oxide inks using Simon Says Detail Round Blending Brushes.

I spritzed Idea-ology Crinkle Ribbon from my stash with Fossilized Amber Distress Spritz, sprayed with water, scrunched up in my hand and dried. I fixed the ribbon across the panel and added a double bow.

I fixed the buttercup die-cuts in place with Distress Collage Medium, coloured a scrap of Distress Watercolor card to match, stamped the sentiment from Simon Says Graceful Flowers, inked with Simon Says Intense Black ink and die-cut with the co-ordinating Graceful Flowers die. I fixed the sentiment in place with foam squares to create dimension and matted the panel on to an A2 white card blank.

I'm planning a play session with the large floral image from the Graceful Flowers stamp set and will be back soon to share what I make. In the meantime, have fun with whatever you're making.
