Hello my friends, did I happen to mention that I'm in love with the Graceful Flowers August Card Kit from Simon Says Stamp. You can check out all the fabulous products in the kit and if you wish, can also purchase individual items from the kit HERE.
I decided to create 2 simple cards using only items from the kit and make the gorgeous Blossom Swag Embossing Folder the star of the show using the BlackOut technique on Simon Says Lavender cardstock. I added some Fossilized Amber Distress Spritz shimmer and used the Graceful Flowers stamp set and co-ordinating dies (which are an add on product, not included in the kit) for the sentiments.
I used the Blossom Swag Embossing Folder to emboss 2 - A2 panels of the Simon Says Stamp Lavender cardstock included in the kit.
I dragged the Villainous Potion Distress Oxide ink pad over one of the panels and Simon Says Intense Black ink over the other on the debossed side and added splatters of Fossilized Amber Distress Spritz, also included in the kit. An entirely different look depending on the colour of ink you use.
I stamped the sentiments from Simon Says Graceful Flowers 6" x 8" stamp set on to scraps of the Lavender cardstock, inked with Intense Black ink, die-cut using the co-ordinating Graceful Flower sentiment dies and fixed to the panels with 3D Black Foam Squares included in the kit.
I covered A2 white card blanks with Idea-ology Gold Metallic Kraftstock and added the embossed panels.
