I'm not having much success getting back into the crafty swing...looks like it could be another jammie day...there's always that anti-climax feeling after a show...missing the company and the buzz and now that I'm a year older the old body doesn't bounce back so quickly from 4 days of frantic crafting...crikey it was full on non-stop busy busy busy right from the off...in fact I have never ever seen so many crafters all in one place all at the same time and a real battle to even get to the loo...no amount of "excuse me's" or elbows held at right angles could clear a path...a real case of not leaving it until the last minute. It was lovely to meet up again with old friends and make some brand new ones too...crafters are just the nicest folks on the planet but you all know that already.
You'll be pleased to know that the suitcase made it through check in and with the gale force wind assisted flight I arrived at the NEC in super fast time all ready for the chaos of set-up day...unpacking all those tools and organising my little home-from-home area for the next 4 days...the Fiskars version of the cubbyhole...
but before you know it's done and dusted and we're good to go....
I was ever so chuffed to see my designs on this year's Fiskars Give-Away leaflets...
Saying HI and a big thank you to all the lovely crafters who came along to keep me company...they were absolute stars and great fun...
but it's not all work...work...work....
tired feet relaxing 3 in a Bed Fiskars style
and there's always a yummy dinner at the end of the day to look forward to...
and the fun company of my gorgeous Fiskars teamies....Hina and Rach
and not forgetting the lovely Penny and Jane from Art of Craft
The Dream Team Indeed....you Rock Girls....love you loads...
But still loads of stuff to tick off the crafty list...so it's big knicker time again and back to the cubbyhole.
Hugs Kath xxx
