A Timmietastic Workshop

Morning folks.....let me tell you that 4 hours of playing with Tim Holtz is a real tonic for the crafty soul....a definite must have experience for every Timmie fan...hard to put into words.....even more fabulous than fabulous.....he's a great laid back and has a great sense of humour and although it was fast paced he made us all feel so's all about having fun and boy oh boy did we have loads of fun with Tim and the lovely girls on our table....
but none of it would have been possible without the Dream Team Holtz Machine
Tim...Mario and Alain from Ranger.....the amount of prep that goes into a workshop for 288 crafty addicts doesn't bear thinking about...4 weeks of cutting scoring die cutting and collating all the bits and pieces for each kit and thanks to Mario and his sneaky peek Twitter pics of kitting in progress we were all whipped up into a crafty anticipation frenzy....
Each and every square of paper for our configuration box had been pre-cut...scored and fitted perfectly...
and what's in that jam packed goodie charm naughty of you Tim making us wait until after tea break for the big reveal....
the almost finished Configurations Box...just needs a few more embellishments....a bit of tweaking and the feet fitted before it takes pride of place in the cubbyhole....

and thanks to Tim and Ranger's generosity....I still have lots of goodies to play with
but as you know all good things come to an end and too soon our time with Tim was over.....wonderful memories to take home and wooo...hooooo Tim kindly personalized my Timmie cool....
After a break for lunch and a crafty shop we were all set for another fun class with the lovely Lin and Leandra making something entirely different but equally as gorgeous which I will share tomorrow.

I'm Still on Cloud Nine....

Morning folks....I'm still on cloud nine and suspect that I may be for some time to are going to be so bored with all my Timmie tales.....Carol and I had an absolute ball at the Artsycrafts Event and it started right from the minute we registered at 7.30am....on our way to get a quick coffee we bumped right into the man himself.....well I was like a lovesick teenager when he said "Hey how you doing" and then we met up with that lovely sweetheart Mario...a chance for me to hand over my goodie bag in exchange for a big hug......please do not adjust your sets....this is what I look like after falling out of bed at silly o'clock (5.00am ish)....not a pretty sight I agree.....

but hey it just got better and better.....Carol set off to the toilet while I went off in search of a bin to dump the coffee cups when all my Christmases came at once....who should I find sitting round the corner taking some time out before his frantic day of back to back workshops...Carol was absolutely gobsmacked when she returned to find me having a crafty chat with the lovely Tim Holtz.....every bit as nice as we knew he would be and only too willing to snuggle up for some photos....

Could the day get any better.....OH YES....but you will have to wait until tomorrow for more Timmietastic Tales.   A huge thank you to Leandra..Tim..Lin and their fantastic team of super duper elves...they have worked so hard to prepare for this event and thank you one and all a million times over for making us feel so welcome and for making the day so very special....we loved every second.....YOU GUYS WELL AND TRULY ROCK!!!!!
And bang goes any thoughts of a nice snuggly Sunday's time to get back to reality and get the work hat on......a magazine commission for Fiskars to be done and dusted for tomorrow and then a Simply Create workshop to prepare before I can even think of playing with all the Timmietastic/PaperArtsy goodies that just happened to jump into my shopping basket.
Catch up with you all tomorrow

Some Sneaky Peeks from the Cubbyhole

Morning to all my lovely bloggy buddies from your favourite bundle of golden deliciousness who just happens to be in sole charge of the cubbyhole today.....but I can't help thinking about my Mum...she will be on her way to her class with Timmietastic...just hope she doesn't get too excited and has packed some spare pairs of knickers just in case.  She was feeling decidedly pants when she left....choked up with the cold but hopefully Mr Timmietastic along with Misters Benolyn and Neurofen will work their magic and she has a great day.
And in true Mrs Bossy Knickers style I've been given my orders....strict instructions to post some sneaky peeks so fingers crossed Mr Blogger is in a co-operative mood or I'm up the proverbial creek without a goes...

a little goodie bag for Tim & Mario who are rather partial to Dairy Milk Chocolate

hey aren't we all....but I only get the boring doggy stuff
I had a bit of a restless night last night....I missed the big bum that I normally snuggle up to but just one more sleep and it will be home again laden down with goodies I suspect....crikey I hope the plane manages to gets off the ground with all those Timmie goodies.  I'm off for my morning stroll with Dad and then back to have a power snooze...might as well enjoy the peace and quiet of the cubbyhole while it lasts....once the Crafty Lady returns it'll be back to chaos and mayhem again.  Remember to pop over to Penny Black Saturday tomorrow for another challenge.
