Simon Says - Add A Rainbow of Colour

Hi Everyone...welcome to another week on the Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge Blog. Thank you for joining us for last week's challenge and we hope you can join us this week too because

The first challenge of the month is when the Design Team feature one particular brand/company and this month we are all using the fabulous products from Dylusions/Dyan Reaveley. You don't have to use these products to join in the challenge but we would to see what you make with them if you have them in your stash.

The theme for this week is...

ADD A RAINBOW OF COLOUR

I made a card using Distress Mini Ink Cubes to create a rainbow background, Dylusions Write Now Small Stencil, Dylusions Black Marble Ink Spray, Tim Holtz/Sizzix Wildflower Stems 2 and Alphanumeric Tiny Type Lower Thinlits.

I began swiping Barn Door, Mustard Seed, Spiced Marmalade, Peeled Paint, Salty Ocean and Dusty Concord Distress Mini Ink Cubes across a 3" x 5.1/4" panel of Distress Watercolor card, spritzed with water and dried to create a rainbow background.

I added a Dylusions Creative Dyary Sticker from my stash, spritzed Dylusions Black Marble Ink Spray on to my glass media mat and pounced through the Dylusions Write Now Small Stencil using a Mini Round Blending Tool to create banners for the sentiments.

I die-cut Tim Holtz/Sizzix Wildflower Stems 2 Thinlits from Distress Watercolor card and fixed in place with Distress Collage Medium.

I die-cut the wording from Distress Watercolor card  using Tim Holtz/Sizzix Tiny Type Lower Thinlits and fixed to the stencilled areas. I used a Sakura White Gelly Roll Pen to add highlights to the Creative Dyary Sticker.

To finish, I matted the panel on to an A2 piece of Distress Black HeavyStock and fixed to an A1 White card blank.
