Simon Says - At The Beach

Hi Everyone...welcome to another week on the Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge Blog. Thank you for joining us for last week's challenge and we hope you can join us this week too because

and the theme for this week is...

AT THE BEACH

I created a 5" x 7" beach theme card using Tim Holtz/Sizzix Alphanumeric Bulletin Thinlits, Idea-ology Found Relatives, Photograpic Collage Paper, Tim Holtz Stampers Anonymous Mini Splash Layering Stencil from Set 26, Distress Grit Paste Opaque, Tim Holtz/Stampers Anonymous Tiny Text and Simon Says Stamp Tiny Text co-ordinating dies.

I trimmed Distress Watercolor card to 5"x7" and coloured using Salty Ocean and Tea Dye Distress Oxide inks and a Distress Sprayer.

I die-cut the panel using Tim Holtz/Sizzix Alphanumeric Bulletin Thinlits.

I fixed the panel to a 5" x 7" white card blank. I fixed Sizzix Adhesive Sheet to Distress Black HeavyStock, die-cut using the Alphanumeric Bulletin Thinlits and pressed the black outline of each letter into the negative spaces.

I added the black die-cut letters and the coloured letters on top using Simon Says Stamp Thin 3D Foam Squares to create dimension.

I tore the edges of the photo from Tim Holtz/Idea-ology Found Relatives and fixed in place along with  torn strips of Idea-ology Photographic Collage Paper using Distress Collage Medium and a Distress Collage Brush.

I applied Distress Grit Paste Opaque through theTim Holtz/Stampers Anonymous Splash Mini Layering Stencil from Set 26 using a palette knife.

I stamped the sentiment from Tim Holtz/Stampers Anonymous Tiny Text on to a scrap of Distress Watercolor card, inked with Versafine Clair Nocturne ink, die-cut using Simon Says Stamp Tiny Text co-ordinating dies and fixed in place with Thin 3D Foam Squares.

To finish I added splatters of Distress Resist Spray, sprinkled with white embossing powder and heat set.
