Simon Says - Tag It

Hi Everyone...welcome to another week on the Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge Blog. Thank you for joining us for last week's challenge and we hope you can join us this week too because

The first challenge of the month is when the team showcase one particular brand/company and this month we are all using the fabulous products from Tim Holtz. You don't have to use these products to join in the challenge but if you have them in your stash, we would love to see what you make with them.
We are also welcoming the lovely and talented Fiona Whitehead as our Designer In The Spotlight. If you haven't visited her blog before, be sure to pop over, you will be in for a real treat.

The theme for this week is...
TAG IT
I created a snowy winter scene on a Tim Holtz/Stampers Anonymous #8 Etcetera Tag using Idea-ology Blue Palette 8" x 8" Collection Paper, Tim Holtz/Stampers Anonymous Mr Frostie, Snowflakes Layering Stencil, Simon Says Stamp Mr Frostie co-ordinating dies and Tim Holtz/Ranger Distress Tarnished Fine Liquid Tinsel to add some magical sparkle.
I trimmed the paper from Tim Holtz Idea-ology Blue Palette Collection and fixed to the #8 Etcetera Tag using Distress Collage Medium and a Small Distress Collage Brush.
I sanded the edges to neaten using Tim Holtz Mini Round Blending Tool and Sanding Disk. I applied Distress Grit Paste Opaque through Tim Holtz/Stampers Anonymous Snowflakes Layering Stencil, sprinkled with Distress Rock Candy Chunky Glitter and set aside to dry.
I stamped the snowman image and branch from Tim Holtz/Stampers Anonymous Mr Frostie on to Distress Watercolor card and coloured using Stormy Sky, Candied Apple and Gathered Twigs Distress Stains using a Distress Detailer Brush.
I die-cut the stamped images using Simon Says Stamp Mr Frostie co-ordinating dies and fixed to the tag using Distress Collage Medium and Simon Says Stamp Thin 3D Foam Squares to add dimension to the snowman. I used a small brush to add accents of Distress Tarnished Fine Liquid Tinsel to the branch and snowman.
I coloured the May Arts Crinkly /ribbon using Stormy Sky Distress Stain and a Distress Sprayer.
I tied in a bow, fixed to the top of the tag and used a small brush to add random accents of Distress Tarnished Fine Liquid Tinsel.
I stamped the sentiment from Mr Frostie on to a scrap of Distress Watercolor card, trimmed to create individual words and fixed in place with Simon Says Stamp Thin 3D Foam Squares. I fixed Clear Gems to the centres of the snowflakes, added Distress Tarnished Fine Liquid Tinsel on top.
To finish I added Distress Tarnished Fine Liquid Tinsel around the edges of the tag to complete the sparkly magic.

The products used to create this project are available from Simon Says Stamp and are listed below.
