Simon Says Stamp - Celebrating You In A Big Way

Hello my friends, I'm back to share another card made using the Festive Bunting die and Having Fun 6" x 8" stamp set from Simon Says Stamp Step Right Up June 2026 card kit, along with the Prize Ribbon Sentiments and die which are not included in the kit but are add-ons to purchase separately. I began by using Tim Holtz Tumbled Glass Distress Oxide ink and Distress Sprayer to add colour on a 4" x 5.1/4" panel of Distress Watercolor card and inked around the edges using a Mini Round Blending Tool.

I die-cut the Festive Bunting flags from Distress Watercolor and Simon Says Stamp Schoolhouse Red and Mint cardstock and fixed to my Black Stamp and Stencil Mat.

I stamped the stripes, stars and polka dots from Simon Says Stamp Having Fun stamp set on to the flags, inked with Simon Says Stamp White Pigment Ink and Lumberjack Plaid Distress Oxide ink.

I threaded the flags on to the string die-cut from Schoolhouse Red cardstock and fixed to the panel with Simon Says Stamp Thin 3D Foam squares.

I stamped the sentiment from Prize Ribbon sentiments on to a scrap of Distress Watercolor card inked with Versafine Clair Nocturne ink, die-cut using the Prize Ribbon Circle die, fixed to the rosette circle, die-cut from Schoolhouse Red cardstock and fixed to the panel with Simon Says Stamp Pawsitively Perfect Craft Glue.

I stamped the small stars from Simon Says Stamp Having Fun stamp set randomly over the background inked with Lumberjack Plaid Distress Oxide ink and added Gina K Black Mini Pearls. To finish I covered the front of an A2 white card blank with Schoolhouse Red cardstock and fixed the panel in place with Simon Says Stamp Pawsitively Perfect Craft Glue.

Simon Says Stamp - Step Right Up June 2026 Card Kit

Hello my friends, it's that time of the month when I get excited about the arrival of the latest card kit from Simon Says Stamp. This month's kit STEP RIGHT UP is jam packed with lots of amazing and innovative products to kick start your creativity. The card kit has SOLD OUT, no surprise there, but you can still purchase individual items from the kit or if you don't wish to miss out, subscribe to future kits HERE.

I created 2 cards using the Scattered Straw Distress Mini Oxide ink pad, Having Fun 4" x 6" stamp set, 3D Popcorn Box die, A1 pre-cored notecards, Schoolhouse Red cardstock and White Heat and Fluff, all included in the kit.

I began by creating 4 - A2 background panels on Distress Watercolour card using the Scattered Straw Distress Mini Oxide ink pad and Distress Sprayer.

I stamped the stripe from the stamp set on to Distress Watercolor card inked with Lumberjack Plaid Distress Oxide ink, die-cut using the 3D Popcorn box die and assembled. I die-cut the popcorn box backer and popcorn kernels from one of the inked Scattered Straw Panels.

I trimmed 2 of the inked panels to 3.1/2" x 4.1/2" and stamped one with the burst image from the Having Fun stamp set, inked with Lumberjack Plaid 

I inked the edges of both panels and tickets from Tim Holtz/Idea-ology Ticket Book with Scorched Timber Distress Ink using a Tiny Blending Tool and fixed the tickets to the second panel using Distress Collage Medium.

I stamped the larger burst from the Having Fun stamp set on the second panel, inked with Lumberjack Plaid Distress Oxide ink.

I used Tim Holtz/Idea-ology Tiny Attacher to fix Tim Holtz/Idea-ology Film Strip.

I fixed the die-cut Popcorn Boxes to both panels, coloured the box inserts and popcorn kernels with Scattered Straw Distress Oxide ink, applied the White Heat and Fluff, heat set and added the kernels to the boxes and backgrounds.

I covered the fronts of the A1 blank cards with Schoolhouse Red cardstock and fixed the panels in place with Distress Collage Medium. I stamped the sentiments from the Having Fun stamp set on to scraps of Schoolhouse Red cardstock, inked with Simon Says Stamp White Pigment Ink, sprinkled with Simon Says Stamp Cream Embossing Powder, heat set, trimmed and fixed to the panels with Simon Says Stamp Thin 3D Foam Squares.

Simon Says - Tag It

Hi Everyone...welcome to another week on the Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge Blog. Thank you for joining us for last week's challenge and we hope you can join us this week too because

and the theme for this week is...

TAG IT 

I created a trio of Tag shaped cards  using Simon Says Stamp Long Stem Florals stamp set and Long Stem Florals Color Block Stencil, Tim Holtz/Stampers Anonymous Mr Rabbit to add interest on the background and Idea-ology Label Stickers for the sentiments.

I used a #8 Mixed Media HeavyStock tag as a template to cut 3 tags from Distress Kraft HeavyStock.

I applied Simon Says Stamp White Pigment Ink through the Long Stem Florals Stencil using a Mini Round Blending Tool.

I stamped the images from Simon Says Stamp Long Stem Florals 4" x 6" stamp set inked with Versafine Clair Nocturne Ink, sprinkled with Clear Embossing Powder and heat set.

I coloured the images with Distress Watercolor Pencils (colours linked below) using a Distress Detailer Waterbrush.

I stamped the background stamps from Tim Holtz/Stampers Anonymous Mr Rabbit with White Pigment and Versafine Clair Nocturne inks.

I added splatters of Distress Resist Spray, sprinkled with white embossing powder and heat set. I fixed the tags to white card blanks, trimmed to create tag shapes, added a black/white plaid bow from my stash and Tim Holtz/Idea-ology Sentiment Label Stickers.

Simon Says - Things With Wings

Hi Everyone...welcome to another week on the Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge Blog. Thank you for joining us for last week's challenge and we hope you can join us this week too because

THINGS WITH WINGS

I created a card using Tim Holtz/Idea-ology Yellow Palette Collection papers, Simon Says Layered Scallop Tag dies, Tim Holtz/Stampers Anonymous Specimen and Leaf Prints stamp sets, Script Mini Layering Stencil from Set 49 and Idea-ology Sentiments Label Stickers.

I trimmed tim Holtz/Idea-ology Yellow Palette Collection paper to 4" x 5.1/4" and stamped randomly with an image from Tim Holtz/Stampers Anonymous Leaf Prints, inked with Vintage Photo Distress Oxide ink.

I die-cut two tags from Distress Black HeavyStock and Yellow Palette Collection paper using Simon Says Layered Scallop Tags.

I placed the panel into my stamping platform and stamped the moth from Tim Holtz/Stampers Anonymous Specimen, inked with Versafine Clair Nocturne ink.

I fixed the die-cut tags to the panel with Distress Collage Medium and re-stamped the image.

I applied Distress Grit Paste Opaque through Tim Holtz/Stampers Anonymous Script Mini Layering Stencil from Set 49 and sprinkled randomly with Simon Says Gold Embossing Powder.

I heat set the embossing powder on the stencilled areas, dragged the Versamark ink pad around the edges of the paper, sprinkled with Gold Embossing Powder and heat set. I stamped the script and specimen circle from Tim Holtz/Stampers Anonymous Tiny Toadstools on to the background and tag, inked with Versafine Clair Nocturne ink and added Simon Says Black Splatter Medium.

I added a White Hemp Twine bow, a butterfly trimmed from the patterned paper and Tim Holtz Idea-ology Sentiments Label Sticker.
