Hello my friends, I'm back to share cards made with Tim Holtz/Stampers Anonymous Moth Study and the newly released Moth Study co-ordinating dies from Simon Says Stamp. You can check out the 6 sets of dies released this month HERE.
I trimmed Distress Mixed Media HeavyStock to create 3 - 4" x 5.1/4" panels and coloured using Evergreen Bough, Dusty Concord and Tea Dye Distress Oxide inks and a Distress Sprayer.
I fixed torn strips of Idea-ology Entomology Collage Paper in place with Distress Collage Medium.
I applied Black Soot Distress Oxide ink through Tim Holtz/Stampers Anonymous Bubble Mini Layering Stencil from Set 5 using a Tiny Blending Tool,
I stamped the moth images from Tim Holtz/Stampers Anonymous Moth Study on to Distress Mixed Media HeavyStock, inked with Ground Espresso Distress Archival ink and coloured with Distress Watercolor Pencils (colours linked below) using a Detailer Waterbrush.
I repeated using the small label and number images and die-cut using the Simon Says Stamp Moth Study co-ordinating dies.
I fixed Idea-ology Mummy Cloth and Black Hemp Twine to 2 of the panels and added the moths popped up on Simon Says Stamp Thin 3D Foam Squares to create dimension.
I also added the die-cut labels and numbers popped up on Thin 3D Foam Squares and inked around the edges of the panels with Scorched Timber Distress Ink using a Tiny Blending Tool.
I stamped the sentiments from Tim Holtz/Stampers Anonymous Tiny Text on to Distress Black HeavyStock, inked with Versamark, sprinkled with Simon Says Stamp Cream Embossing Powder, heat set and fixed in place with Thin 3D Foam Squares.
To finish I matted the panels on to Distress Black HeavyStock and fixed to A2 white card blanks.
Have fun with whatever you're making.
Beautiful, love the dies and the colours, just gorgeous. xx
