Hi Everyone...welcome to another week on the Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge Blog. Thank you for joining us for last week's challenge and we hope you can join us this week too because
and the theme for this week is...
MASCULINE
I created a Father's Day card using Tim Holtz/Idea-ology Neutral Palette Collection 8"x8" papers, Stampers Anonymous Distinquished and Sign Painter and Simon Says Stamp Sign Painter co-ordinating dies and Sizzix Tailored Thinlits.
I trimmed the Tim Holtz Idea-ology Neutral Palette Collection paper to 4" x 5.1/4" and stamped the umbrella and pocket watch from Tim Holtz/Stampers Anonymous Distinguished, inked with Versafine Clair Nocturne Ink.
I shaded around the edges with Scorched Timber Distress Ink using a Tiny Blending Tool and domed foam.
I added a torn strip of a co-ordinating Neutral Palette Collection paper, stamped the letters from Tim Holtz/Stampers Anonymous Sign Painter, inked with Versafine Clair Nocturne ink, on to a scrap of Distress Kraft Heavystock, die-cut with the co-ordinating Sign Painter dies and fixed to the panel with 3D Foam Squares.
I changed my mind about the Sign Painter letters and re-stamped on to Distress Mixed Media HeavyStock, die-cut and fixed over the originals using Distress Collage Medium.
I die-cut the hat, jacket and tie from Distress Kraft and Mixed Media HeavyStock using Tim Holtz/Sizzix Tailored Thinlits. I shaded the edges with Scorched Timber Distress Ink, assembled and fixed to the panel using 3D Foam Squares.
I added splatters using Simon Says Stamp Pawsitively Perfect Gold Splatter Medium and matted the panel on to a top-folding A2 Distress Mixed Media HeavyStock card.
