Tim Holtz/Simon Says Stamp - Tiny Text

Hello my friends, Simon Says Stamp have just released 6 new die sets to co-ordinate with Tim Holtz/Stampers Anonymous stamp sets, don't you know. If you missed the Live launch, you can catch up over on Simon Says Stamp YouTube Channel HERE and check out the stamps and dies HERE.

I had lots of fun using the dies that co-ordinate with the Tiny Text set of stamps to make 2 for the price of one love themed cards. I am so excited that these dies can also be used with Tiny Text Halloween and Tiny Text Christmas stamp sets, making them a great value for money purchase.

I began by creating a background on an A2 panel of Distress Watercolor card using Kitsch Flamingo and Picked Raspberry Distress Oxide inks and a Distress Sprayer.

I flipped the Tiny Text stamp set over, inked the centre with Versafine Clair Nocturne ink and pressed the panel on to the stamps to transfer the ink.

I die-cut the laced edged heart from Distress Watercolor card using Simon Says Stamp Lace Heart wafer dies, die-cut the small heart from the stamped panel and fixed in place with Distress Collage Medium. I set aside the stamped panel to be used later.

I stamped the individual sentiments from Tiny Text on to Distress Black HeavyStock, inked with Versamark ink, sprinkled with White Embossing Powder.

I created a second panel on Distress Watercolor card using Picked Raspberry Distress Oxide ink, die-cut the smaller heart from the panel using the Lace Heart die, set aside to use later and trimmed the panel to 3.3/4" x 5". I fixed the stamped Lace Heart die-cut in place with Distress Collage Medium and added a Black Twine bow. I die-cut the stamped and embossed sentiments using Simon Says Stamp Tiny Text co-ordinating dies and added to the heart, popped up with Black 3D Foam Squares to create dimension.

I trimmed the original stamped panel to 3.3/4" x 5", added the Lace Heart die-cut around the aperture and inserted the inked heart into the negative space popped up on Simon Says Stamp Thin 3D Foam Squares.

I stamped the Tiny Text sentiments on to Distress Watercolor card, inked with Versafine Clair Nocturne ink, sprinkled with Clear Embossing Powder and heat set, I die-cut using the Tiny Text co-ordinating dies, fixed to the card using Black 3D Foam Squares and added a black hemp twine bow and small hearts from the Lace Heart die set.

To finish, I matted both panels on to 4" x 5.1/4" white card blanks.
