I'm Still on Cloud Nine....

Morning folks....I'm still on cloud nine and suspect that I may be for some time to come....you are going to be so bored with all my Timmie tales.....Carol and I had an absolute ball at the Artsycrafts Event and it started right from the minute we registered at 7.30am....on our way to get a quick coffee we bumped right into the man himself.....well I was like a lovesick teenager when he said "Hey how you doing" and then we met up with that lovely sweetheart Mario...a chance for me to hand over my goodie bag in exchange for a big hug......please do not adjust your sets....this is what I look like after falling out of bed at silly o'clock (5.00am ish)....not a pretty sight I agree.....

but hey it just got better and better.....Carol set off to the toilet while I went off in search of a bin to dump the coffee cups when all my Christmases came at once....who should I find sitting round the corner taking some time out before his frantic day of back to back workshops...Carol was absolutely gobsmacked when she returned to find me having a crafty chat with the lovely Tim Holtz.....every bit as nice as we knew he would be and only too willing to snuggle up for some photos....



Could the day get any better.....OH YES....but you will have to wait until tomorrow for more Timmietastic Tales.   A huge thank you to Leandra..Tim..Lin and their fantastic team of super duper elves...they have worked so hard to prepare for this event and thank you one and all a million times over for making us feel so welcome and for making the day so very special....we loved every second.....YOU GUYS WELL AND TRULY ROCK!!!!!
And bang goes any thoughts of a nice snuggly Sunday lie-in....it's time to get back to reality and get the work hat on......a magazine commission for Fiskars to be done and dusted for tomorrow and then a Simply Create workshop to prepare before I can even think of playing with all the Timmietastic/PaperArtsy goodies that just happened to jump into my shopping basket.

    Yeah, What a fantastic day it was, stay on that cloud girl, things like that day don't come around very often.

    How fab to meet Tim himself..he seems like a great guy. Of course he should have been happy to have his picture taken with you..he might come up with some fab products but you my dear are one of the amazing card designers who make his stuff look so fantastic. I'm so glad you had a fab time you deserve it. You work sooo hard. Take care of yourself.

    I'm sure between you and Carol you could have got Tim into one of your bags and sent him to me! - I would have taken good care of him and would have let him go again after a few days - maybe!!!

    So glad you and your friend Carol had such a good time with Tim, Mario and gang. Did you enjoy the classes? Or were you flying to high to take in all the techniques? I am sure we will be getting all that info when you get settled back in the cubbyhole. I know there is one handsome furry fellow that will sure be glad you have returned. Give him an extra hug from us cause he did a fabulous job while you were away.
