Simon Says - Fun With Paint

Hi Everyone...welcome to another week on the Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge Blog. Thank you for joining us for last week's challenge and we hope you can join us this week too because

The first challenge of the month is when the team showcase one particular brand/company and this month we are all using the fabulous products from PaperArtsy.

The theme for this week is...

FUN WITH PAINT

I made a simple mixed media card using PaperArty Fresco Paints and a Tim Holtz Distress Brayer to create the background, applied detail with paint through PaperArtsy Kate Crane PS427 Stencil, added a stamped image using Tim Holtz/Stampers Anonymous Embroidery and Idea-ology Metallic Stickers.

I added dots of PaperArtsy Candy Floss, Sunshine and Parakeet Fresco Paints to my craft mat, used Tim Holtz Distress Brayer to spread the paint and brayered on to an A2 panel of Distress Watercolor card. I applied Parakeet though the PaperArtsy Kate Crane PS 427 Stencil using a Tim Holtz Distress Tiny Blending Tool. I repeated the process using different parts of the stencil with Candy Floss and Rusty Fresco Paints. I stamped the floral image from Tim Holtz/Stampers Anonymous Embroidery on to the panel, inked with Versafine Clair Nocturne ink.

I trimmed the panel to 4" x 5.1/4", matted on to an A2 panel of Distress Black HeavyStock and fixed to an A2 white card blank. I fixed sentiment stickers from Tim Holtz Idea-ology Metallic Sticker Book to scraps of white card, ran round the edges with a Momento Black Marker and fixed in place with Distress Collage Medium.
