Hi Everyone...welcome to another week on the Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge Blog. Thank you for joining us for last week's challenge and we hope you can join us this week too because
and the theme for this week is...
STITCH IT
I created a layered collage style card using Tim Holtz/Idea-ology Serendipity Collage Paper, Palette Ephemera, Postmarked Sticker Book and Cello Sticker Tape, added stitching and a sentiment using Simon Says Scripty Hello Wafer Die.
I trimmed Simon Says Sage Cardstock to 4" 5.1/4" and applied a light skippy coat of White Gesso using Tim Holtz Distress Small Brayer.
I tore strips of Tim Holtz/Idea-ology Serendipity Collage Paper and fixed to the panel using Distress Collage Medium and the small Distress Collage Brush.
I inked the edges of the Tim Holtz/Idea-ology Palette Ephemera pieces with Vintage Photo Distress Oxide ink and fixed in place using Distress Collage Medium. I added postage stamps from the Postmarked Sticker book and strips of Cello Sticker Tape.
I stitched around the edge of the panel to attach it to an A2 panel of white cardstock and added straight and zig zag stitching details to some of the ephemera panels.
I die-cut Simon Says Scripty Hello shadow from vellum and the word 5 times from scraps of white cardstock, layered to create dimension and fixed to the panel with Distress Collage Medium.
To finish I flicked on splatters of Dina Wakley White Gloss Spray, dried and fixed the panel to a top-folding A2 white card blank.
